The location of the hotel is in a very prominent area if you are looking to visit the Guangfulin area. The hotel has a private access to the Guangfulin Relics Park. Also, the hotel has a nice area for outdoor activities, as well as kids play area which my child really enjoyed. The hotel staffs were really cordial and had english speaking staff. You can easily take a small trip of one or two day if you are visiting Shanghai to get more authentic Chinese heritage feel by visiting the Guangfulin Relics.

Given the hotel is very spacious and is three storey building, the access to lifts is difficult. Therefore, I would suggest if you can ask the hotel staffs to give you rooms closer to the lifts for easier access to the lobby, pool area, and breakfast restaurant.

Breakfast was beyond perfect. Asian and European cuisine. By far the largest assortiment i have seen ever.

Mini bar was not available, which is strange , having in mind that the hotel is a 5star one.

Restaurant was overcrowded and in choas during breakfast time. Too many walk ins for breakfast buffet. They even dare to add a table right next to us where we cannot walk out unless we ask the person to stand up and step out of their seats. This is unacceptable for serving buffet ! As for a la carte lunch, it took them one hour to serve a Hainanese chicken rice and a bowl of wonton.

Location is good .

For a 3.000 RMB/night hotel we would expect much better breakfast and trained staff.

Nice design , room size and balcony

50 minutes minimum to get the food in the western restaurant even after 2.00 pm. We got electricity problem in our room at 11.00 pm and un-qualify worker can’t solve the problem. We have to change the room at midnight , take a minimum personal effect in the dark😭
