We stayed at this property for 1 night in mid-May. It is virtually in the middle of nowhere. Very scenic location by a frozen lake and beautiful snow covered landscapes to view. The view from the room, the main sitting area and the dining area were simply gorgeous. Very good food for dinner. And breakfast was ample with lots of local variety, and choice.

WiFi was pathetic. No connection in the room, and we were very close to the main lobby and sitting area. This was highlighted to the staff. The room was absolutely basic and functional. Even did not have any tea/coffee facility. The bathroom was equally basic with the bare necessities.

There was a wide choice of breakfast offerings. The area around the hotel was truly rural Norwegian. While the longest day of the year was only two weeks away there was still some snow on the grounds in less sunlit areas. The hotel is a peculiar mix of old-style (early last century) rural styles and modern 21st century appliances.

Our room was definitely dated. Some of the lights didn't work and electricity outlets were scares. The double glass in our window was old and moisture had gathered between the panes making half the window obscured by a murky haze.

Old traditional hotel directly at the side of the road. The view and the direct access to the lake is beautiful. Restaurant has a good Norwegian menu. Breakfast was good as well.

Very high price for charging your electric vehicle as a standard price (not charging by kw/h)

We enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. The view of the lake is great and the food was very good. The wine selection for affordable prices was a bit meager, but that is Norway..

On our way back to the East we stopped at the hotel again and I was a bit saddened to have to pay 49 NOK for a cup of take away filter coffee.

Lovely place to be! An old country hotel, well equiped. Very friendly staff. A beautifull view all over the lake. The feeling of having a time travel to time long ago.... Everything was very satisfactory. We recommend this hotel!

The food was great, dinner and breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a lovely view. Would recommend the roast deer, elk meatballs and chocolate fondant. Nice beer on tap also. The people that worked there were really lovely and friendly.

rooms were simple but extremely clean. there was a nice sitting area with a great view, good lighting, strong Wi-Fi, and a great remodelled bathroom. breakfast was outstanding and mat pakke was reasonably priced if you needed it. staff were very nice and the common areas were cozy with different sitting areas.

electric car charging was 300 NOK!

Comfy beds, god breakfast and positive experience in general. Staff was nice and helpful.

Could not adjust the temperature of the floor in the bathroom. Wifi did not work in my room while mobile coverage was poor.
