Very spacious, clean, full kitchen and beautiful view. Staff was very responsive and accommodating. I really wish we had more time to stay as the room just felt like home and comfortable.. The road to Roldal was closed due to bad weather the original day we were going to stay, so had to change the dates last minute which was given smoothly without penalty. They also held our room the next day in case there was bad weather which was forecasted, but we ended up not staying which was nice to have a backup plan without committing to paying for another night. I kind of was hoping to get snowed in just to have an excuse to stay another night!

Nothing. I have been to Roldal 3-4x now staying at different places and this is by far the best accomodation I have had.

It was a great overnight stay in Roldal for us, we arrived late and the room was waiting for us with a key in the door. There's an Ionity charging station nearby and a parking on site. There were kitchen utensils and a nice balcony with a view. You have to bring your own linens or rent them for a fee -- pretty typical in Norway. Overall, we were very satisfied with our room and our stay, check out at 12 is great perk as well.

no bed linen, bed linen paid extra. People sleep without pillowcases, which is why duvets and pillows are dirty, The last time we encountered such a situation was in India or Egypt. Of course, the situation is the same in many others appartments in Norway. This is a very common situation. Luckily we had our sleeping bags. the price is not adequate. This situation should not happen in a European country. Bed linen should be included in such a high price.

Gorgeous view from our windows (of which there were several in the living room/kitchen). Pretty clean and with everything you need for a couple of nights, even coffee filters. You might want to pay attention to the fact that you would need to pay for the bed linens, this came as a surprise for me, but I probably just missed it while reading the description.

The views from the terrace were spectacular. Additionally, the kitchen was very well equipped.

We understand that the absence of complimentary bed linen and towels is common in many accommodations, but it can be a bit inconvenient to have to carry them while traveling.

Great for an overnight stop over or two with a Coop nearby stocking most food requirements. Good view from the balcony. Access arrangements worked fine.

Basic but functional. We stayed two nights but had to buy all the necessaries - toilet roll, shampoo, soap, salt, pepper, sugar etc. You would have thought that some basics are provided.

View from balcony was amazing. We stayed for 1 night, our apartment had bathroom, small kitchen, very tiny bedroom. Overall all ok.

No washer, cleaness could be better, shower was a bit dirty and water wasn't smoothly going down instead collected in shower.

We loved it! Waking up to that view is amazing, apartment is more spacious than we thought, ideal for those looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. We chose it over Odda as it was more affordable and less busy, there's a bus from Oslo that stops a few meters away. Would stay again :)

What a wonderful view from the balcony. Had nice bathroom, kitchenette, lounge & dining area, but the bedroom was very cramped with bunks as well as a double bed. Loved the bathroom floor heating.

No toaster and hair dryer.

Nice apartment with two bedrooms, ideal for 4 people. The highlight of the apartment is its large balcony with a magnificent view.

right on the road (but as the rooms have windows to the opposite side, the noise from the road was not a problem)
