First of all, the host, Stefania was simply the best. So nice, so helpful, so open. The view from this BnB was spectacular. The location is 200 yards off of the main highway, located on the ridgeline above the city. So, from that location, you enter the compound, and find a few different apartments. My apartment had a majestic view of the city below. The suite comes equipped with a stove, microwave, fridge, and freezer. So, I was able to address any cooking or reheating needs. The onsite parking was located outside of my walk-out door, on the terrace, which overlooks the city. Simply amazing.

The trip down into the city center requires that you walk down about 300 steps. The steps are in good condition, are not too much of a burden, and allow you to visit the city, walking there in less than 7-8 minutes. The walk up the hill took 10-15 minutes.

This was a perfect apartment for us - it was very convenient to the main road out of town enabling us to visit numerous fascinating Calabrian towns and sites. Stefania, was a fantastic host, she met us on arrival, was very friendly and helpful throughout. Prior to our arrival, her husband Giovanni sent us clear directions to the apartment. They live in the building so it was easy to contact them. I can see some confusion in the reviews - the listing is not completely clear that there are two apartments - both on the ground floor. We stayed in the one bedroom which has the spacious open-plan kitchen living dining area, a terrace with a seating area and nice views - particularly in the evening - when we sometimes had stupendous sunsets! We missed out on having the larger terrace but were pleased nevertheless as it was nice having the open space room with large patio doors. The place was immaculate, and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable - we slept well after our long days travelling!

We had a large seating area and a sunny patio with sea views. The facilities were great, including an iron and ironing board. Stefania was very helpful, meeting us at the station and taking us back. It was very quiet.

The location is very quiet but some way from all the restaurants, which means going down a lot of steps to eat and then coming back up later in the evening, which could be quite challenging after a tiring day. There don't seem to be any taxis.

Was able to park on the patio right in front of the entrance to our apartment. The apartment had a living room with a flat panel big screen tv, dining area, kitchenette, big bathroom with a washing machine, very large bedroom with a queen size bed. Stefania, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. View of the sea from the patio. Would definitely stay there again.

Mattress was a bit too hard but that seems to be the norm in Italy.

The parking and location were brilliant. The view was to die for and it was just so relaxing and comfortable. It had everything we needed including a washing machine and Netflix. Some people stated it did not have a couch but it did. The kitchen had an oven and a microwave. The owners were lovely and went out of their way for us. They sent us pictures before we arrived which really helped as you would drive past the driveway if you did not know it was there. We had one of our best stays. 5 minutes to the beach by car (15 min walk). Two minutes to the supermarket (5 min walk). Wonderful. Highly recommend.

Very very odd they do not have hot water connected in the kitchen.

Very nice apartment, well presented, lovely views from the large balcony. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best and so couldn’t make use of the outdoor seating and unfortunately there is no indoor lounge area. Located at the top end of town with easy access by car from the main roads, we would suggest not driving into the middle of town as the roads are very narrow with no parking. The hosts are extremely helpful with suggestions of places to visit before arriving and help with anything else you need whilst there.

There was no hot water at the kitchen sink, we don’t know if it was a temporary issue.

We had 2 excellent, newly renovated fully equipped apartments for the 5 of us for our short stay. The apartments are spotless, tastefully appointed and everything functioned well. Our hosts, Stefania, her husband and brother were awesome. So friendly and helpful. they picked us up and dropped us off at the train station (even at 6:30am). they recommended places to eat and things to see and would respond to any queries promptly. Very highly recommended!

Nothing. It was all excellent. The weather could have been better during our stay as it was raining heavily both days. However, that has nothing to do with Vista Stromboli.

It had a fantastic view of the Mediterranean. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful, and responded to any message we sent. There was a very nice kitchen, comfortable sitting area and beautiful terrace, with on site parking.

It was a little difficult to find but fortunately our hostess was waiting for us.

Nice spot just a few meters from the main road, very nice owners, big and modern apartment with all and even more of the necessities, beautufully decorsted, clean and freshly smelling towels.

There is actually only one apartment with the beautiful terace looking towards Stromboli, while the other one has a parking spot on what is supposed to be the terrace.

The place is so beautiful that we regretted we couldn't stay longer. The owner offers free pickup from the train station which you should take - climbing up the hill with backpacks in 40 degrees is very challenging but we would do it again if we could go back there.
