- Clean and comfortable room, very nice decoration in the common area, the whole place felt really cosy and welcoming. - Only a couple of rooms in the property, so it’s very quiet. - Free private parking available within the gated & guarded property. - They have water dispensers in the common area (hot & cold water available), which is a nice plus point for my family.

The road leading to the property is quite narrow, and there’s no clear sign to tell us to turn in from the main road, we missed it the first time we arrived lol. Pillows a bit too soft for my liking, but this is just a minor thing.

The staff were exceptional in their attitude, service and disposition. The male staff even helped us to carry our luggage into the boot of our Grab driver when we left for the airport and waved us good bye. The place was beautifully decorated, the arm chairs were comfortable and it was relaxing to sit in the foyer space to wait or read. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was big and the shower head was of good quality with strong pressure to have an exceptional bath.

The exhaust fan in the bathroom was quite noisy. Also the lighting in the room was rather dim as it had only warm light. It will be good to have a centre ceiling room with cool warm lightning to brighten the whole room. The reading table lamp on both sides light up too much on both sides of the bed that will disturb the other person so can't switch on individually. The wifi was also down for the first 3 days and they explained that it is network that affects the whole region. Luckily we had our own data plan and had to go out to get a Malaysian sim card to supplement. The place was very quiet but was interrupted twice when Chinese/Taiwanese guests with young children came and talked very loudly and disturbed the peace.

The staffs were exceptionally nice and went beyond their job scope to make us feel welcomed and comfortable...from the moment we arrived, a lovely lady helped to carry one of our luggages up the stairs...when we were checking out, another lovely lady switched on all the lights for us to take photographs and she even clicked so many lovely pictures for my family...she even played so patiently with my daughter for so long at the reception area while we were waiting for our grab...apart from the commendable staffs, the place was needless to say decorated with extremely beautiful vintage touches...we truly enjoyed our stay at tudor and will be back here again if we are in Ipoh!

Wonderful place, it seems to be in the mid of colonial age. Staff is super-kind and helpful. Everything is clean and comfortable. Parking available. Location is convenient to visit Ipoh and cave temples.

lighting need to improve as ita a bit dim

We had a spacious two bedroom suite. The suite was very clean and the air conditioning worked well. There is very little contact with staff on the property, other than to check you in and out during appointed times. It is a very quiet place and we barely saw anyone during our stay. The house was decorated festively for the holidays and in general has a quirky feel to it.

The location of the hotel is somewhat awkward. It is on the other side of a major intersection which seems to be impassable by foot. We had to use Grab to get across the intersection and even by car, it is a circuitous route to get there. There is nowhere close by to walk to for dinner or breakfast and breakfast is not available at the Tudor. I if you stay here, be prepared to use Grab or taxi to get in and out of Ipoh. Fortunately, Grab is very cheap to get around.

Very cosy boutique hotel, feels like home). Nice lobby and very helpful staff. Water cooler with drinking water available for guests at the lobby. We had evening tea in the lobby. Enclosed private parking (for 5 cars) with 24h security.

Additional armchair in the room would add comfort and relax, but there was only one chair for only one person)). It was not convenient for our family of two people. It was very hot on a second level where all rooms are located. Located in suburban area, so there is no any cafe inside or nearby the hotel)). Personnel at the checkin desk is available during working hours only 9-17.

Very beautiful boutique hotel, finely furnished in the common areas. The room was spacious and clean. Good for a night stay or prolonged stays.

It is a bit outside of the city, reachable basically only via grab. It is well advertised in the description, probably for 1 night stay it makes more sense to stay in the city center. For us it was okay, 1 EUR and 10 minutes we were in the city.

Everything..the room..the hotel exactly like the photo provided and as explained in the property details. I read those comments with lowest rating, and I believe they didnt read the details given and lead them to disappointment when their expectation is toooooo high. There’s a bit of sound for the water piping..but its not an issue at all for us, since our purpose of staying is not just staying the room 24 hours. The hotel is superclean during my stay..the room the lobby, parking area etc..hope this review will help others to decide when booking a room here. Its value for money as well..worth what you paid, we stay at the 2 bedroom suites. I will definitely return.

Nice staff, very beautiful house and super well decorated. When we checked in, we asked if we could change room and the person at the counter immediately gave us another option.

Two main points we didn't like: the bed was awful, we really didn't find it comfortable (but it's a matter of taste). You'll hear the noise of AC units from other rooms and the houses around andsound insulation between rooms is inexistent
