Great views, great food, and located close enough to the the main part of Platja d'Aro that you can walk into town in ten/fifteen minutes.

They put themselves as a family hotel, but they had concerts several nights in the pool area, and placed us with a 1 year old directly over the pool. They did allow us to sleep in a separate room for the nights of the conference, but didn't let us move altogether, and when we asked after the first concert they said there were no more... and then two nights later we're moving a 1 year old at bed time to a new room because of another concert.

We have arrived a bit late..2 AM 😅But the gentleman from the reception was so nice.From staff,food and room,everything was amazing!!It is not a big hotel which was nice,as we had space on the sunbeds everyday.There is a lovely walk you can take on Cami de Ronda which connects multiple beaches as well,so good for exploring. If you are hesitating to spend the extra money for a Sea View..trust me..it's sooo worth it!We had one right above the bar and could still see plenty. Rooms were clean,bathroom as well..and the bed so comfy and big. Also,if you are gluten intolerant,you can just ask for gf bread in the morning and they provide.After 2 days there they already knew and it was prepped in the morning 😅 As a travel agent I will definitely recommend this hotel to my future customers and will be back for sure ! We came for a little weekend getaway from Barcelona. Hotel Cap Roig turned out to be an excellent choice! The rooms are updated and comfortable with lovely sea views. The pool area lovely and very comfortable. You step out of the hotel onto the coastal walking path that has dramatic views, narrow pathways and spectacular coves. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and tasty and the staff were very professional and friendly.

We were very happy with everything but there must have been a family with small children above us that started running around and moving balcony furniture at 6:45am! We had a wonderful big bathtub in our triple room. My only suggestion would be a handle bar because the edge is quite wide and stepping out can be dangerous.

Spacious hotel set in beautiful grounds right on the coast. Lovely sunny balcony. Fresh bedlinen and towels daily. Copious breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Great pool with sea views.

The room was a bit small as it was a double plus separate single rather than the twin I had requested. There was water in the fridge in arrival, but this was not replenished, so we had to buy bottled water from a machine every day. The poolside bar was not open when we arrived despite being told by staff that it was. One day they were repainting right next to the poolside loungers and the fumes were quite strong.

The room, the hotel terrace and pool area, breakfast area. All were very nice!

The bike storage was terrible. Some of the keys were not working, and they only have 1 key for the main door of the storage. We had a situation where another quest had taken the main key, and it took a long time for us to take our bike from the storage. Very bad and also unsafe system that could be easily fixed! The staff really didnt care about the bike storage and how to help the customers to lock the bikes safely and get them out from the storage when needed.

Wow! We arrived after a small storm, and with a view of the ocean, it was insane (in the best way). We had the corner room on the first floor, and it was even better than I expected! Location was great for hiking and visiting the beach. The hiking trail is located right out the door. However, food options weren't spectacular in the surrounding area. We would highly recommend the hotel's breakfast. My partner and I both visited the spa, and would recommend a facial and/or massage. The sauna and jacuzzi weren't that warm when we were there, so I'd suggest a treatment rather than the hour-long spa pass.

Views are amazing! The room is super comfortable and the staff is super friendly. Access to the beach is also really easy and the dinner buffet is pretty decent. The spa massages was amazing, but the spa itself was lacking.

I really missed having a table or something similar in the room. I didnt have anywhere to place things (like beach stuff, or a bag, a water bottle..anything) while getting ready or if I just wanted to stay and enjoy the room. There was only side tables which were pretty small. I stayed for 6 nights and every single day the breakfast was exactly the same. I wish it changed a bit. Spa was lacking. The pool water was cold and saunas were not working.

Gorgeous sea views, pretty beach, decent lunch and dinner choices and great service in the restaurant and bar. For all the exterior tiredness of the hotel, the lobby looks very stylish

Reception staff should be trained - a lot of new employees who are frankly slow. No cameras in the parking lot. I got scratched on my new car. Lots of idiots who park their cars in the driveway and no one follows it. Signs and labeling would help:) The room stock requires renovation. Noise insulation leaves much to be desired. A musician who performs a couple times a week, apparently a friend of the owner and you're doomed))) Great guitar playing but I wish he hadn't risked singing world hits😭 However, I personally think this is one of the best hotels on the Costa Brava and if you keep things simple you will enjoy yourself.

The location and the views from rooms - amazing!!!

We had to change one of our rooms due to a strong chemicals/cleaning smell. That was corrected quickly however with a new room. The hotel is visibly old and so sound damping is an issue so our daughter had a fun night listening to the neighbours love ;-) also if anyone was in corridors one could hear everything. All compensated by view to sea. The biggest issue was the parking. Beside ourselves we witnessed many other guests struggling to get in and circulate (even to get out) in serious challenge. There should be a warning for it and better organisation
