This is a gem of a small boutique hotel in a beautiful country side location. The food at their restaurant was simply delicious and we enjoyed the friendly personnel and their dog friendly attitude. The breakfast was served in a very tasteful manner. Plentiful with a great variation of items. We also enjoyed the tasteful decor and interior design of the hotel and the beautiful garden restaurant.

Only one thing we can find, and that would be that we enjoy having a small fridge in the room. However, with a bar, restaurant and attentive personnel at hand, we could easily live without it.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough, from the minute we turned up everything was perfect! We booked a 1 night overnight stay on our trip from the U.K. to Copenhagen. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival, given information about where we could walk our dog, there is a wooded area opposite the hotel which is perfect for walking the dog. We didn’t venture out of the hotel (only to walk the dog) but the hotel was a great location for our overnight stay as it’s close the motorway. We had an evening meal which was superb. All homemade and really fresh. Our room was exceptionally clean, very modern and decorated to a high standard. There was a dog bed, bowls and treats for our dog which was a nice touch. Breakfast was waiting for us at our requested time the following morning. Breakfast is a choice of cereals, yogurts, local jams, cold meats, cheese and fruit, all very nice. Highly recommend Hotel Wiesengrund.

Great little hotel, just off the motorway. Super friendly owners who were attentive and just made the experience for us. The food in the restaurant was first rate, my wife is vegetarian and although choices for her were limited, she still found something good to eat. The room was super clean and well appointed. The grounds were well kept with plenty of outside areas for drinking and chatting, Just a very smart, but super friendly hotel. We will be back here for sure. For my fellow english travellers, the hosts spoke good english and the restaurant menu also has an english version. Made to feel like we had been staying there for years, super friendly!!

Only small comment, 1 or 2 extra vegetarian dishes on the menu would be amazing.

My room had a beautiful view, hartmut and melanie were wonderful hosts, the rooms are big and well decorated. Last the restaurant was very nice also and the steaks are fantastic

Nothing about the hotel. The town of Dinklage is a little quiet. But if that is what you’re looking for this place is perfect.

Excellent and very friendly service, with perfect English. Great communication throughout from immediately booking was made. The room was modern, spacious and very comfortable. They even left some little treats, bowls and a bed for our dog. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended and would certainly stay again.

Our stay here was short but it was perfect. The hotel is lovely and everything looks lovely and clean. Our room was very spacious and the bed was really comfortable. Best of all though was the breakfast, it was beautifully laid out and plenty of it. Staff were really friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing I don’t like

It is in the perfect location close to the motorway and in the middle of the woods, we went for a walk after long hours in the car. It is clean, quiet and room was spacious, very comfortable beds. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Found this place last year and is now our preferred stop over from UK to Poland, great location, the owners are very friendly and it's a relaxing stay over.

No real issues, I can wish restaurants were open on a Sunday, but then again, it's nice culturally people can get time off 😁

Location, hospitality, spacious room, complementary water and candies. Good breakfast.

We forgot to say that we didn't eat meat. The manager brought breakfast ready at our table. It's not a buffet. So keep that in mind when you check in. :)

Really nice place with comfortable beds, and convenient location if you are looking for over night stay. We also had a nice diner with delicious dish from a local asparagus. Despite the lack of buffer there was a very good breakfast with all what you need to be full and energized.
