The thermal spring waters and the natural beauty of the grotta are overpoweringly relaxing! There is the Thermarium circuit (the outdoor thermal water pools with hydromassage and spa facilities). Two pools to choose from, with cafe on site that is very reasonably priced! The Meditarium circuit (indoor thermal water pool) is very relaxing, with spa facilities including a Roman bath. Different atmosphere and very relaxing. Multiple areas for relaxation between the pools and spas, allowing for flexibility and privacy. The Grotta it’s self is a magnificent experience. The Steam bath in the Grotta is rejuvenating, due to the combination of the air consistency, the sound of the water, the scenery and the natural heat. If you get the chance do experience floating in the Grotta water. Also, there is a hiking trail within the grounds that should not be missed!

Access to the spa requires either a car, or a short taxi journey from the train station. There are some areas of the hotel and the facilities that could do with redesigning.

We went as 2 friends and had such a wonderful time away. The hotel is so clean! The staff were attentive. But the star of the show is the unbelievable treatments at the spa. We had a facial, massage and experienced the steam cave, all were excellent. I will definitely be returning, many times. Also, the barman is amazing, so enthusiastic about his job, his cocktails were wonderful!

We didnt have the best dining experience for dinner at the hotel. However, the second evening, the reception staff reccomended an incredible local restaurant and we loved it! Cicceria Sale e Pepe.

Nothing wrong about the property, however if you are planning to travel around like we did, taxis are extortionate and I would highly recommend renting a car to explore.

Good facilities and excellent pools. Shame the ice for the spa experience wasn’t working. Needed in the heat. Also drains by the pool occasionally smelly. Would also be nice to have the other bar open in the afternoon as opposed to from 7pm.

The place itself is beautiful. The hotel is kept clean and neat, and is beautifully furnished. Common areas are warm and cozy. The staff, from reception to restaurant/bar to the spa, are all extremely professional, polite, and helpful. They really are what makes your stay different than in other hotels. We stayed with half-board package, the restaurant menu is quite diverse with daily special dishes to offer more variety.

The room was a bit cold and just did not seem to reach the desired temperature, to keep in mind that the thermostat is not working unless you ask the reception to switch it on (and then still has a limit how warm you can set it: the max was 23 degrees but it did not feel that warm at all). For some reason there is some difficulty to connect iPhones to the wi-fi (we were told it's a known issue?), it worked in the end but took some struggle.

We did not like the room at all as we heard during the night the noise of the too old ventilation system. We found the spa area outdated and very small, while the relax area was organized in the former lobby of the spa, very large but not really appropriate. The restaurant was too small and the breakfast was kind of a disaster. Every morning we had to wait for a table and the food was not enough for the so many people in the hotel. All in all a huge amount of money for a very badly organized hotel.

The rooms were clean and pleasantly decorated with large TV screen, coffee/tea making facilities and a fridge. The beds were very comfortable. Reception staff Antonietta was extremely helpful and provided some excellent information on local attractions and provided recommendations.

Facilities as well as the beautiful surroundings! The spa and pool facilities were fab, very relaxing. The staff were always so helpful and friendly. The hotel rooms were very clean and modern.

The hotel restaurant was very expensive for dinner and not many offerings. As a tourist, I was hoping for more authentic Italian pizza and pasta options that I could try, as well as the fine dining options. We ended up finding the local restaurant by the hotel gates.
