We never saw the place. I made the reservation on my phone while traveling through the Upper Peninsula. I inadvertently clicked on Iron Mountain instead of Ironwood, MI. Two seconds after I recognized my mistake. I immediately phoned to Iron Mountain to cancel. They were very kind. I tried to contact booking.com by telephone, email, etc. but could not reach them. I called Iron Mountain back and said I was worried that Booking.com would still charge me for a room I did not use. The manager and front desk assured me that they had immediately canceled it with booking.com, but I still it is still haunting me. We are elderly and can not afford to pay for two rooms for that night. I hope booking.com is listening to me and not charging me for a mistake.

Railing for bathrooms. Traveling with someone with mobilitly issues and railing in tub and by toilet would made it so she was able do things on her own.

The bed was not very comfortable and as you walked into the room there is a bed side table that should probably be on the other side of the bed.

Very friendly staff, breakfast was good every day. Budget oriented but very good.

Thicker blankets on the bed would be great.

The location of the place is good, close to most everything. The room size is nice, and the price is fair.

We’ve stayed at this place several times over the years, and there have been many different owners. It’s alright but nothing fancy. The building and rooms could use an update. Need more accessible electrical outlets, the ones on the lamps by the bed won’t accommodate a phone charging block.

Very amicable gentleman at check in. Hotel and room was exceptionally clean. Breakfast included although basic.

Room safe would be a nice addition.
