All the front desk girls were very polite. The pool and hot tub area was shut down when we arrived, but was quickly in working order the next day. We liked that the hotel was fairly close to several restaurants and stores. There was actually a natural spring right close by in which you could fill up your water bottles at any time! The shower water pressure was one of the best we’ve ever encountered! The key card actually worked EVERY time we used it! Good value for price paid even with the remodeling going on.

There wasn’t any kind of food/breakfast available, but there was hot coffee/water in the lobby at all times. Would have been easy to have a toaster accessible. The closest main road was a bit busy and fast moving. Vending machines could have used a fill-up, and they were only located on the first floor. The rooms provided soap but no other self-care products. We couldn’t figure out how to use the fireplace although we didn’t need to use it.

Motel 6 experience is exactly what I look for when all I need is Clean , Comfortable and affordable. The young lady that welcomed us when we checked in around 8pm was friendly and professional. No other Hotel comes close to the value.

I can only think of one thing which was the temperature of the room was set at 69 when we entered and when I tried to set the temperature to a higher temp it seemed to get to that temperature 72 but while we were sleeping it dropped back down to 69. I’m not sure if the heater control was broken or if it was to save the hotel money. It was a minor annoyance.

The room we were in was not equipped with any USB or places to charge phones, so make sure you bring your chargers..plus no Do Not Disturb signs for the doors so housekeeping was knocking early

The hot tub and pool were nice after a long day of hiking the beautiful area. We stayed during the week and we practically had the whole place to ourselves. Probably the cleanest and nicest Motel 6 I've ever seen. It was a great centrally located landing spot for us during the week while we took day trips exploring the UP. We will definitely be returning to stay when we visit the UP again.🙂

I wish coffee was available 24/7. It would be nice if something was offered for breakfast. Even if it's just a bagel with cream cheese and a piece of fresh fruit.

The room was nice, comfortable and clean, however, the windows were damaged or just very filthy with a streaky film over the whole thing, we weren't in the room much but it was still not nice to open the curtains and see the windows looking bad. The room came with coffee and coffee cups but no coffee pot. We didn't complain because my husband just went down to the lobby for coffee. Overall our stay was pleasant.

The nasty windows, we were in room 208 if you want to check them. Towels could have been a little bigger but they served their purpose.

Good value. Staff was helpful. Reasonably clean.

The entire facility could use a revamp. Wear and tear of years of neglect are beginning to show. From peeling exterior paint to mildew stained pool grout and cracked windows and torn bedding. A facility wide upgrade would be helpful.

It was a little ways off of the main road, so the sound of traffic is a little quieter. There’s a pool/hot tub. Staff were phenomenal! The king bed suite has a separate room with a couch, tv, desk, and mini-fridge. The bedroom had a big tv compared to other places I’ve stayed. It also has an electric fireplace and jacuzzi.

No breakfast but mcDs across the street. Pool area ckean well maintained and No kids after10, YEAH

I had a whirlpool suite fireplace didnt work, they should install electric ones. Why is there only 1 chair? There is plenty of space why not a table and chairs from the breakfast area thats not used?

Clean rooms, friendly staff, pool and hot tub were great. What more could you ask for? Oh and Teresa, the front desk clerk was very nice, knowledgable about area and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of.

Bed pillows are small.

Staff awesome great service and very approachable. Always ready to help and so looking forward to next stay next July for my stay to see Family. God bless all you folks.
