Lovely location and great on site facilities. We only stayed one night but the staff were friendly and spoke English which was a great help as our French is limited. The bar and restaurant were good and so was the service. We had a lovely evening meal. Although we didn’t use them there was a swimming pool ,table tennis, boules area and bike hire. Great if you were staying for a few days. The gardens and grounds were extensive and were beautifully kept. It was a peaceful and tranquil setting with wonderful views.

The WiFi was extremely poor and we really struggled to get a signal. The reception desk admitted that there was a problem but surely the hotel should act and get it fixed? They seemed to have a take it or leave it attitude. We were also slightly disappointed by the lack of replenishment of cooked food at breakfast. No scrambled eggs left.

Location was amazing, felt like you were at a country club setting, restaurant and bar very nice and the grounds very well maintained, the pool is a great asset as you can't swim in the Somme Bay itself. Great walking track out the back to the town so no need to take the car each day which was beautiful and had everything you'd need, a really lovely family orientated place. Special thanks for the bar tender, he was always super smiley and our son who's 5 loved asking him for the pool table equipment like a big boy each evening. Make sure you know a small amount of French as English was not widely spoken, not a problem as it's so lovely to get away from the usual tourist spots but we did struggle in some places!

We had a triple room and it was small with no air conditioning which meant it got very warm in the upstairs bedroom, luckily we thought about this and took a fan but you can request them too so worth noting. Next time I would book a family room for the extra space as we didn't have any sort of lounge area or much storage but this did not spoil our stay and we will definitely return.

The location was excellent, on the headland at the mouth of the Somme and walking distance away from the busy tourist town of Saint Valero sur Somme. The room was fresh and very clean but no view out of the skylight window. The buffet breakfast was extensive. We did not unfortunately have enough time to use the pool or other facilities and wish we had stayed longer to hire bikes.

This is a very large property which I hadn’t realised when booking so feels a bit like a holiday camp.

The rooms are set out in chalet style buildings which are spread out over a large expanse of grounds. The hotel is well maintained with well kept gardens and plenty of free parking. Reception were very helpful on arrival and offered us evening dinner in the hotel but we decided to walk into St Valery to eat which is easily accessed via a coastal path. It takes around 25 mins to get to St Valery but a very pleasant walk along the Baie. The bedroom was comfortable but not luxurious. Breakfast was exceptionally good with freshly squeezed orange juice available and lots of local produce from breads cheeses yogurts and jams.

Breakfast was not included in the price when booking the hotel via booking.com. There was no facility to have breakfast included at the time of booking which means if you want breakfast it is another 14 euros per person on top of the room charge. This made the price of the overall stay quite expensive

The location. Room was very simple but we knew that, no complaints, bed was fine, it was quiet when we were there, lovely spot to take a good walk after a long car journey, and unexpectedly good breakfast the next morning with lots of choices. And well kept grounds, gardens were well looked after. It’s quite a big set up, we can imagine ideal for families in the high season.

This hotel offers a lot for 3 stars. It is in a beautiful rural location and you can walk to the beach in minutes. We watched a lovely sunset after enjoying an excellent dinner. There is a good sized out door swimming pool, table tennis, petanque, tennis courts all in lovely grounds. Rooms were small but clean and tidy. very good value for money

Most of the staff did not speak English and at times came across as a little curt. I think that may have been the language barrier. You have to book dinner in advance of your stay or risk not having space. The local town is really nice alternative.

Great place for stopover although we might return for a longer stay. Really nice for families and convenient with restaurant on site. Surroundings are beautiful and the grounds are also lovely with pool, lots of nice walks and outdoor table tennis. Restaurant has a play area for little ones, so it’s very relaxing.

We booked late and therefore had to split up in two smaller rooms. Would recommend asking for bigger rooms when travelling with little ones

The room was bright and airy and spotlessly clean and had a view of the bay. The food, though expensive, was high quality for a treat. The pool looked nice.

No mini fridge, so no cold water to drink at night on a very hot day. It's a long way from the centre of St Valery, and is a 15 minute walk to the beach. The menu choices at dinner were limited.

Loved the location, 1/2 hr walk to town on the flat, great facilities, clean and comfortable, beautiful view from our room (507 I think??)

Upstairs rooms have sloping ceilings and and some beams so not ideal if you’re very tall or clumsy like me! Our room had a dormer window but most of the upstairs rooms only had velux windows. Downstairs rooms had terraces. Sadly the restaurant was fully booked with large parties both nights.

excellent hotel. stayed twice for 1 night on return from Limousin. Unfortunately have not been able to eat dinner on either occasion. last year the restaurant was closed for a wedding and this year when i went to reserve it was full. Ate in St. Valery on both occasions which is fine as there are lots of restaurants .Breakfast was very good.

Not being able to have dinner there.
