Everything! Hosts Joel and his wife Vanessa were welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are tastefully finished and spotless. The food was local produce and excellent quality. It was so lovely to hear their passion for what they are doing. From sourcing and working with locals to provide some of the best preserves I’ve tasted with the local breads and pastries for breakfast, to using top quality locally sourced ingredients for their Table D’hôte evening menu. Vanessa’s pancetta was outstanding! Joel was generous with his time to explain local attractions to visit during our stay. We had an excellent stay!

Beautiful, peaceful Chambre D'hote 15 mins off the motorway. Wonderful welcome from Joel and Vanessa. Rooms spotless and comfortable. Evening meal was locally sourced and cooked fresh in the kitchen. Delicious. The beer is fab too ! Would recommend a stay. We will be back.

The only thing that we would change would be a kettle in the room rather than the complicated coffee machine. But that's it.

Lovely building and grounds, beautifully presented through out. We felt very welcome and Vanessa and Joel made our stay at the Presbytere very enjoyable. They were very helpful and attentive hosts. An excellent and tasty table d’hotes was served each night. On the night they could not provide a cooked meal, they kindly provided a shared platter of cheese and charcuterie. We ate this outside under the trees and enjoyed chatting to other guests.

Unfortunately the Wi-Fi in our room was unreliable but we were able to get a signal sitting outside our room and in the main house. Joel attempted to cure the problem, but the connection remained unreliable.

Absolutely gorgeous accommodation, warm welcome, friendly hosts. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful and the gypsy caravan we stayed in was beyond cute! What a lovely experience! We had the table d'hote meal as we were there at the weekend and that was gorgeous too. Highly recommended, we wished we'd stayed more than one night.

Beautiful peaceful location, lovely rooms, fantastic friendly owners who went out of their way to accommodate and welcome us to their home. We had been caught up in the eurotunnel fiasco, and crossed the channel a full 12 hours late. We arrived at the chambre d’hôte at 5.30am. Our hosts stayed up to let us in and welcome us (we had kept them updated), before arranging a late check out and breakfast for us. The service and friendliness was exceptional when they could have easily cancelled the booking. We can’t speak highly enough of them. Luckily we were able to return 2 weeks later to experience their full hospitality at a normal arrival time. Thanks Vanessa and Joël you were amazing! Caroline and family and friends

Wonderful hosts. Joel and Vanessa made us feel extremely welcome and relaxed. Food was excellent. Cannot recommend enough. Accommodation is rustic and comfortable.

We stayed in the Priest’s room which was a very peaceful, quiet space with lots of beautiful touches. Very comfortable beds plus a good shower. Breakfast was great and the hosts, Vanessa and Joel, are very charming and helpful. We were easily able to park at the property but a public parking space is right next door too.

Breakfast was included but was only bread and jam and yoghurt, no mention of having to pay extra for eggs! Or anything else which was a shame Didn't mention about not putting toilet paper down the toilet

It is a beautiful house, run by a very nice couple. Joel invents beers and has a local brewery make them for him,they were very nice. Would recommend an overnight stop here
