Amazing hotel, very convenient off the motorway on a stopover to Calais. Fantastic place to stopover travelling through France. Wonderful barrack style rooms on an old airport, really quirky. Very dog friendly and grass to walk dog surrounding hotel. Super friendly staff and people who own hotel. Lovely restaurant and bar attached which is also dog friendly. Didn't eat there but the food being served looked amazing. Very relaxing place. Room was compact but had a kettle and some bottles of water which was a nice touch. Very comfortable bed. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I were looking for a place to stay during a trip from Spain to England, which was an easy drive to the Euro Shuttle and would accept our dog. This motel fitted the brief perfectly. You can reverse your car right up to the accommodation, the room had ample space for us and our German Shepherd, was bright, airy and clean. There are also plenty of areas around the property for exercising dogs. The on site restaurant was closed on the Monday that we stayed but we bought a nice bottle of wine, some cheeses and a baguette, borrowed some glasses from the restaurant and sat watching light aircraft take off and land. Perfect for our stopover, so much so that we shall book again for our return trip. Thank you very much for looking after us.

Lovely quirky motel, ideal for any aviation fans. The room was very clean with TV and coffee making facilities and the view was directly out onto the airfield. The room was basically furnished with a really comfortable bed and large walk in shower. The location was near a road but the rooms are soundproofed and so really quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was simple- croissants, baguettes and preserves, with good coffee and juice. A really good place to stay on the way to or from Calais, we will certainly use it again!

With around 16 rooms it’s a great size - very friendly, with all facilities you need but not impersonal like other motels. We loved that our 2 large dogs were welcome everywhere and that they had 4 EV chargers - and being only an hour or so away from Calais it’s a great place to stop over enroute to the tunnel. The food was good - I think they’ve upped their game regarding breakfast vs previous comments as there was plenty of choice inc yoghurt and fruit!

A very friendly place , We were made most welcome and being a Monday given a very good recommendation for a restaurant a 5 minute drive away . Room very comfortable and the hotel restaurant excellent on the following night. The big bonus is overlooking the airfield - if this is your thing look forward to seeing some very interesting bi-planes from the 30s and 40s plus a range of more modern aircraft Excellent choice of beers too . Staff are brilliant . Much to see in the Baie de Somme area .

A lovely hotel in a great and quirky location. We loved 😍 ❤️ the location of this travel lodge type hotel. it was quiet and extremely comfortable with fantastic views on to the old airfield. it was wonderful to see that the airfield was still very much on use. we ate in the restaurant and we all had the best steak and frites we have ever had since living in France 🇫🇷

Surprisingly the breakfast was not partlticularly exciting compared to that offered in other hotels costing the same price.

Friendly helpful staff who spoke some English. Beautiful restaurant with good food for dinner and a lovely breakfast. Lovely terrace overlooking Abbeville aerodrome. We flew in and parked our aeroplane outside our hotel window! The hotel was busy but did not feel crowded at all....

Booking.com should add Abbeville within their location for the app. I only found the hotel via Google!

Amazing little motel style boutique hotel. Exceedingly friendly and helpful staff,who waited for our check in and then ensured we had a good breakfast (we were the only guests and were made to feel welcome and special) We booked it as an overnight on our way to Calais, but we look forward to staying here again for a longer visit.

Cannot really think of anything we would change. The toilet is separate to the shower room and is a little cramped as the toilet is away from the wall. It has a sliding door and is very close to the bed, so is not terribly private. But I have had much worse and it wouldn't deter me from staying again.

We loved staying here. The motel aspect was so convenient, as we were able to park right outside our room. The room was freshly decorated, warm and peaceful. There were great views of the aerodrome through the window, and a fantastic sunrise in the morning. The sheets were beautifully clean and crisp. Comfortable bed and pillows. The staff we met were incredibly charming and welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The evening meal was delicious. We will definitely stay there again if we get the chance, and we happily recommend it to anyone. So convenient for the channel tunnel - it took us just over an hour to reach there after departing the hotel.

We arrived mid afternoon in a quite unexpected snow blizzard together with our two dogs. We were met by the delightful owner Paulo who could not have been more helpful and understanding. As the restaurant is normally closed in the evenings at this time of year we were able to order a chefs surprise meal which was just what two hungry travellers needed. The room was fully equipped, extremely clean and in excellent decorative order. Lots of hot water and an excellent shower. The bed was extremely comfortable and we both slept well. Our two dogs loved their walks in the gardens and being able to join us for supper in the brilliantly decorated and furnished bar and restaurant. PS the local beer is excellent! All in all a great experience

The well equipped bedroom is on the small size - fine for two adults but a bit small for two dogs as well!
