We had a lovely stay at this charming boutique hotel. It offers a quiet and intimate atmosphere, and it’s clear that care has been taken to modernise the spaces — i.e updated bathrooms. The staff were warm and welcoming. There are just a few small improvements that could elevate the hotel further, such as enhancing the breakfast offering, refining some service details (like replenishing coffee pods daily), and investing in more comfortable pillows. Overall, we had a positive experience and would be happy to come back.

This quiet hotel is on multiple levels. The views from rooms on the upper levels is lovely. The breakfast room is also on the top level. Rooms are a very good size. There is a small pool. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the centre of Tilcara.

Reaching the upper level rooms, where ours was, involves MANY steps. This is extremely arduous when lugging cases. I would have expected staff to be available to help at these times. In fact, we found the reception staff at this hotel the least helpful of all those we encountered on our trip in Argentina.

Exceptional grounds and exquisite rooms beautifully decorated, spacious, with gorgeous views, comfortable beds and fabulous bathrooms.

The only thing preventing me from rating this 10/10 is that the staff were not particularly welcoming on arrival and generally, there was a sense that we were imposing rather than guests, which was such a shame as we really loved the place. Although smoking was permitted in the external areas, no ashtrays were provided.

Really lovely hotel in a quiet little corner of Tilcara. We had a superior room at the top of the stairs (anyone unfit might find the stairs too much, especially at this altitude!) with amazing views and a little terrace/balcony. The room was large with a big bathroom, and nice to have our own kettle to make tea. The hotel was walking distance from everywhere in Tilcara and felt very safe.

I absolutely loved the hotel and would love to go back. The location was fantastic, not in the middle of the city but very close. The terrazas and the style and decoration all through the hotel are excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view and our own balcony. Great shower, great breakfast. All excellent. Highly recommended.

Nothing. An improvement to suggest would be to offer some nice drinks on site for the evening/ aperitif moment.

We only booked one night, wish we had more time at this beautiful hotel. The rooms were large and have a lovely outlook. The hotel itself has some lovely gardens and a cool indoor water feature. There is a lot to do around the area and some great restaurants in this little town.

The staff weren't particularly welcoming or informative. We don't speak Spanish so that probably didn't help.

Nice views and calm borough, very close to the main streets. They have a small swimming pool which after long excursion days was a bonus.

Wifi wasn't the best. It was in and out and not so fast. We realised that you can order eggs in the breakfast the last day, by watching someone ordering it. There's no sign explaining you can request them.

Las Terrazas Hotel Boutique is probably the best option in the area. It offers beautiful views, a great breakfast, and a comfortable stay. While it wasn’t anything particularly special, everything was well done, and I have no complaints. If you’re looking for a solid, reliable place to stay with lovely scenery, this is a great choice!

An unlikely place to find such a great hotel, sympathetically built into the hillside with lovely terraced gardens. Spacious comfortable room and excellent restaurant.

It’s shame the restaurant didn’t have more diners to create some atmosphere - but we thought the food was excellent, so hats off to the chef!

Excellent views, quiet, close to excellent restaurants, nice pool, nice breakfast with great views. We were on the third terrace in room 14 and were very happy. Robes were provided, the outdoor area was nice and the bathrooms were large and the shower was wonderful. The room was very large.
