The hotel was lovely and the rooms are a good size. We had 2 different types, one with a balcony and one without, the bathrooms were some of the best we had in our travels around vietnam. The string line in the bathroom was also great for drying out bathing suits. The pool was lovely, nice and big and the deep end wasn't to deep, kids loved it. The morning buffet brekfast was also amazing! Had many different food choices (Japanese, Indian, Western) many coffee choices too (and a coffee machine) 😍 all the staff were very helpful aswell, (offering to help translate to taxi drivers) Would definitely stay again.

The only thing I could really pick on was if you had the do not disturb sign on your door your room wouldn't be made up (obviously) but the staff would call your room late (9pm) to check if you need anything. 2 different days this happened (my room and then my mums another day) easily avoided tho I just unplugged the phone so it wouldn't happen again.

The staff were very efficient, accommodating, friendly and well trained. Concierge was very helpful and knowledgeable. The front desk took their time to ensure our booking was correct-we stayed a couple more days after our tour. Our room overlooked the swimming pool which was very nice. Location was good, eating places and mall close by and the complimentary bus was very convenient.

Sometimes the wifi would turn off in our room. The buffet breakfast was nice but did not have big selection of food as in some other hotels also if they could fry the eggs to order instead of having already made. Would be nice to be able to order snacks like fries, grilled sandwich, burger, salad to eat by the pool.

I absolutely loved this hotel. Luxurious, big, great spacious pool. We booked a room with a balcony, the desk was a very nice place to work. Staff are very intelligent, kind people.

The location isn't great, but it's not horrible either. It's about 30 minutes walk to Bui Vien. The restaurant in the hotel, Chit Chat Cafe, has great staff but the food could use improvements. Better to take the cheesecake off the menu. But it's a decent enough place to eat.

We had an amazing stay, thank you to all the staff for the excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They went about and beyond. The cash machine was not working inside the hotel, so the staff walked us to an ATM outside the hotel to use. They could have just directed us. The pool facilities with the swim up pool bar were fantastic, amazing to chill out and relax. The sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room facilities were lovely and clean. Abundance of food and drink availability with the restaurant and cafe options. Breakfast was amazing, and there were lots of different options to choose from on the buffet. Nothing to fault everything was top notch. Staff were amazing and a credit to your service. All staff we came in contact with were friendly, polite and accommodating. From the reception staff with smooth check in and got our room ready early for early check in, to the concierge opening the door and greeting us on arrival to the hotel everytime and helping book tours, restaurant staff amazing and informative of what they had on the menu to offer. The pool staff friendly and helpful, even chasing the pigeons away from the pool area 😀. All staff were very friendly, even the housekeepers and staff in the gym. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

A very extensive selection for breakfast in the morning will mean that you won't go hungry on your adventures. Really close to the flower market and food street, a worthy destination and relatively central to all the nightlife,

Nothing to not like about this property - it is a little aged, but the facilities and friendliness of the staff certainly make up for this and would definitely stay again.

Very clean and tidy. Exceptional staff always ready to help. Absolutely loved the fresh fruit basket!! Spent a lot of time around the pool eating and drinking and the service there was fantastic. I'd recommend this place to friends and family.

Not being a coffee drinker the only downside was getting just one English breakfast tea bag in the room every day. You could call and get extra though.

It was the third hotel we reserved on the 31st of December after two others had rejected our reservations. Note to fellow travellers: if the property is 'pay at the property' expect you have no reservation in Saigon, especially on a holiday weekend. Also beware of apartments that are marketed as hotel rooms. However, this hotel turned out to be just what we needed and wanted. Great pool, clean room, helpful staff, late checkout, and they honored our reservation.

The front desk check-in was a mess. But they were under exceptional strain since many others were in the same situation as me: desperately trying to find a hotel that would honour a reservation on a holiday weekend.

The Equatorial is great value. Rooms and bed is perfect. Breakfast is good. Staff are perfect.The swimming pool is amazing and the spa, suna and steam room are very good.

Breakfast was not included. City Centre Shuttle Bus could start a bit earlier e.g. 9am instead 11am and offer more pick up points (currently only Dong Khoi Street). Some areas might benefit from renovation

5 star service, from check-in, shuttle, food, bar, pool, room. I really felt taken care of personally. All personnel was so nice and charming. They make up the room twice, to ensure that you are well hosted.
