Our stay at Riad Blue Afriqua was amazing. The hospitality and kindness of Hasan and Mohamed beyond words. Due to havey rainfall we were stuck in this part of the valley for more than 5 days. The river got flooded and the bridges at both end of the valley were blocked. All this time Hasan and Mohamed did everything they could to help us and make our stay enjoyable. They treated us with free dinners and even got a present for my son’s birthday. Thank you Hasan and Mohammed, we will never forget your warm kindness and incredable hospitality. You made our stay wonderfull.

The location is amazing, right on top of the Dades Gorge switchbacks. It was extremely windy when we were there but that just added to the atmosphere and made it feel like you were staying in an old castle. The staff here have a good heart and we felt very welcome. We had a lovely evening meal (with wine) and a good breakfast. The rooms are nothing fancy but are comfortable and represent good value.

One of the windows rattled in the wind but we fixed it very easily with a bit of tissue!

Magnificent view from the room and terrace on the valley. Possibility to spend free time with tea/juice on the terrace restaurant close to the canyon. Good time with the host. Good breakfast. Good value for money. Lot of parking spaces available.

We actually only came for the view over the serpentines next door but as we liked it so much we decided to stay at Riad Bleu Afriqua over night to snap some shots during different day times and at night. Hassan is the owner / manager and we were the only guests. He gave us a very spacious corner room with a great view. Pros: - A 240cm wide bed with white sheets. - Large spacious tripple room. - Warm water. - Eggs for breakfast. - Friendly humble host. - Nicely built and cosy guesthouse. - Good dinner but pricey. - 40 meters away from the best view over the serpentines going up the canyon. - Very quiet at night. - New toilet seat. - Electricity plugs all over the room. - Wifi worked ok. - Nice dining area. - Great price for a double with breakfast.

Generally the stay was very pleasant and everything was settled via booking.com. Cons: - The water pressure was lame (enough for a shower though it takes a bit longer) - The water can sometimes be a bit brackish. - 320MAD / 30€ for a dinner (2 pax - same dishes - 2x harira soup / 1x tagine for 2 / 2x bananas with pomegranate and orange) was a bit overpriced. Our fault. As usual ask BEFORE you order. This time we didn’t and we expected the 12€ per person as written on booking.com - Still it was good and Hassan put effort in it.

This small hotel is just across the street from the famous section of the Dades Gorge road with all the switch-backs. The owner is very friendly and welcoming and we had some of the best food we've had in Morocco. He was also helpful telling us where we could go hiking. Our room had simple decor, but great views and plenty of room. This is a lovely place to stay overnight in the Dades Valley.

This is the best place to stay if you are visiting Dades Gorges. Staff is very friendly and kind. We had a dinner at the Riad and the food was very good. The breakfast was also very good and rich. The Riad is well located, on a walking distance to a view point of Dades Gorges.

Some windows were making some noise due to the high wind, but we managed to fix it and have a good rest. The bathroom of the room we stayed in was a bit tight and without a closing door.

The Riad is perfectly situated in the gorge, with amazing views. We had dinner at the riad and it was one of our best dinners in Morocco. Big comfortable rooms.

The water pressure in the showers was not good.

Great room with balcony overlooking the gorge. Aircon if required. Really welcoming hosts and staff. Great dinner and breakfasts. Very strong wifi. The guys at the drinks shack across the road was a pleasure to chat with.

The riad is at the top of the Dades Gorges winding road fist pass. Spectacle assured! Hassan is the heart and soul of this property seconded by Youssef. Nothing is too much for them. It may not have a swimming pool or a garden but the astonishing nature is in front of your eyes!! For you to enjoy , like Youssef’s magic tricks, like Hassan’s tasteful dishes

Really cool building and the host was amazing. One of the best meals we had in Morocco as well.

The shower was very cold and water kind of goes everywhere. We were visiting in February so traveling in warmer months may not have this issue
