An absolute gem. Individual cottage style buildings with meals, which are great, taken in the main house only 30mtrs away in the grounds. Each room is very comfortable furnished with lots of individual finishing touches. Great breakfast and definately worth booking the optional dinner. The various animals in the beautiful grounds; cats, chickens and horses add the final piece of the puzzle to make this a wonderful place to relax and really feel you are getting away from it all. We only stayed 1 night as we are travelling on to Southern Spain, but so glad we have booked this place again for the return journey.

This was the second stay here as a stop over to a villa in Spain. The stay on the outbound journey was great and this stay matched it. In fact, the evening meal was even better this time! We are now planning a several nights stay here to use it as a base for visiting the WW2 Normandy landings as you couldn't wish for a more peaceful setting with tasty food, a variety of animals and a genuine friendly welcome.

Loved the individual cottages. Great trampoline and climbing frame/swings for the children. Enjoyed the roaming chickens and the horses. Lovely little extras in room eg, shampoo, shower gel, water, tea. Breakfast was delicious. Next time we would stay an extra night and explore the area/ have dinner at the property.

The little shared kitchenette could do with a little plug in hob. Bought some pasta for my children but couldn’t cook it…luckily Supermarket only 5mins away so didn’t matter.

Located in a remote area in a forest is this small farm with beautiful buildings, animals and nature. It was only a stop on our way south but we enjoyed it so much that we could have stay for more. We left with some local produced honey after an amazing breakfast. Hope to be back

Can not think of anything we didn't like

The room was beautiful - tastefully decorated and really well designed with a very peaceful restful feel. The shower room is the loveliest I’ve seen in a B and B setting. Marie looked after us really well and the breakfast was delicious with mainly home produced products of a very high quality. And the two cats were very friendly and cuddly. Would highly recommend staying here.

Amazingly peaceful. Relaxing atmosphere. Super accommodating and welcoming hosts. And the food is superb; breakfast is as good as anywhere and the 4 course dinner was brilliant French cooking and great value for money. We stayed on a drive from UK to the Dordogne. Was a perfect pit stop to break the journey.

A peaceful rural location but very accessible to the motorway. Dinner was delicious - seasonal, organic, local produce, cooked and served with love and care. Eggs for breakfast from the chickens roaming outside the door. Large comfortable bed. Very friendly hosts.

We didn’t have an overhead shower in our bathroom.

The place is gorgeous, it is in the French countryside with a lot of animals. A typical Normandy farm with private small cottages. We also loved the welcoming of Marie and Armelle. We had great discussions with them, we had a wonderful dinner as well. More than a night stay, it was an experience, and a fantastic one! We highly recommend!

Lovely location, convenient for those travelling south from Calais and or wanting to explore Normandy. Well appointed individual rooms. Helpful friendly host and a fab breakfast

Road noise was a little intrusive when windows were open however very quite inside

Really picturesque. Lovely animals, our children enjoyed seeing them and playing with the toys. Lovely breakfast!

It was a shame that dinner wasn’t available as we were looking forward to it after reading the reviews.
