We loved the whole experience! The hosts were wonderful — so kind and accommodating. The food was excellent, and the fact that they have a restaurant on-site meant we didn’t have to wander around looking for places to eat. I highly recommend the Menu Grand-mère and the Banoffee! I was told the courses change occasionally, but honestly, I’ve always believed anything made by anyone's grandma is bound to be amazing — and I was absolutely right. If I had to nitpick, the portions were a bit too generous for someone petite like me — but better too much than too little!

Excellent welcome and service from the team. Food was delicious and menu reasonably priced for the quality. Bed comfortable and room very clean. Nice breakfast - room and quality of ingredients. Outdoor terrace.

Cost of room versus quality of room was for us not quite aligned. The annex of rooms is like a motel but not motel price. We also found the drinks accompanying our meal to be expensive.

The host was particularly friendly and welcoming. Everywhere was calm, clean and comfortable. The hotel includes a very pleasant restaurant and the breakfast, although relatively simple, was more than adequate and was accompanied by great coffee. Well situated for access to A13 and A28.

The Wi-Fi was a bit ‘hit and miss’. Good in the evening. Not working in the morning.

Very friendly couple running the hotel who were very welcoming. Our room was modern and clean - a motel style room accessed from the car park at the back.

Vegetarian options in the restaurant were very limited. We cycled here which involved some very busy roads, rather than the usual quiet roads we have grown used to in France!

Our family room was in the older part of the building and didn't have any air conditioning. It was very warm with 4 of us in a family room. My Mum and Dad were in the newer part and had air conditioning, so there were no issues for them.

The service at the hotel was exceptional. The host went out of her way to provide this high level of service. The food was very good, served in good time and was very presentable.

The decor in the hotel is very tired and needs updating and / or refreshing. This let the hotel down somewhat, with everything else being of such a high standard.

Staff were so helpful breakfast filled the gap quite simple and French! The kitchen stayed open on our arrival just for us. J-C & his wife were warm and smiley She gavee us a great tip of the Abbeye for the next day

Everybody was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent. The room was quirky as it was in the old part of the hotel but still very comfortable.

There was nothing I did not like.

Lovely welcome and very friendly throughout. Easy parking right across the road with lots of free spaces. Good breakfast and evening meal.

The mattress was tired and sunk in the middle, so not the best night's rest.

Great location in town centre with free parking on site. Very good breakfast after a good evening meal. Several locals also in the restaurant for Saturday evening - always a good sign! Super staff - not just a welcome but made time to speak with you.

Being used to the Gersois fois gras and magret we preferred fewer sweeteners to retain the full duck flavours. No lift but that's the building!
