We were travelling by bicycle and safe cycle storage was available. We had pre-booked a table in the hotel restaurant, and had a very good meal. The town itself is very quiet with only one other restaurant that we could see and no grocery shop, only a bakery. No mobile phone coverage in the village at all - a night sky observatory has cut off all signals and tv sketchy via wi-fi. Hotel proprietor very accommodating.

I would describe L'antilope as informal and friendly.Reception was closed when we first arrived with notes about room allocations and keys in the doors.Staff were very friendly and welcoming.Interior decor was attractive , well furnished, comfortable beds, large bathroom.We were in the studio which had a fridge, sink, hob, table and chairs. It would have been great for a longer stay but without Wi Fi (a regional problem) Family room was hot with only one working fan but attractively furnished, double rooms were good.Restaurant was excellent, good menus, including childrens' ,good wine list.

Breakfast was mixed, good croissants, pain choc.s, juice, some yogurt, fruit, bread. Would have liked cereal other than packs of sugared flakes, coco pops, perhaps muesli &. We had to ask for bowls, not a big deal, but no-one around initially. The dog is friendly and sweet but not welcomed in the dining room by everyone.( It is permitted to have dogs in French restaurants so be aware if you dislike this!) There was the occasional pile of dog mess in the car park, nearly trodden in by two family members when getting out of their car.Easy to clear up!

Situated in a nice village location, with a choice of local bars and restaurants. Good evening meal and breakfast in the air conditioned restaurant, with helpful and friendly staff. Good value for money.

It was very hot, so air conditioning would have been welcome. There was a fan on each level, but the one upstairs had a broken case. It still worked, but was potentially dangerous so needs to be replaced. The wooden spiral staircase was difficult to negotiate when carrying bags.

Not much. Would have been good if the restaurant was open, but everyone needs a holiday and the pizzeria in town is great.

Lovely family room with good size bathroom. Pleasant restaurant. Pretty village surrounded by woodland.

We thought the breakfast was a bit expensive so went to the boulangerie instead!

When we arrived after long drive the hotel was in pitch darkness. note on the reception door saying reception was closed Monday to Wednesday. They invited us to go upstairs to find w a room with a key on the outside. The first room we went into looked as if the bed had not been made. Eventually we found a room which was clean but no plug in basin, no creamer with tea. Wrong Wi-Fi info! The restaurant was closed ( one of the reasons we booked)so we had to go cafe nearby. Description of hotel on your web site completely misleading. Nothing to say that restaurant would be closed but we were told usually open only at week end. Very disappointing.
