With 5 mins walking distance to Col Rodella lift, the hotel is perfect for skiers. One highlight is free ski tour led by the hotel’s ski guide Stefano Gasparoli. Stefano knows the dolomiti area inside out and every day depends on the weather he offers day tour around Dolomites that suits intermediate & experienced skiers. We have done one day trip to Sceda with him and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food & drinks were of great quality & value. We stayed for 7 nights with half board: Breakfast is buffet with plenty of hot food, salads & fruits. Extra add-ons such as omelettes are available at reasonable prices. Dinner comes with buffet style cold starters, then 2 main courses & dessert of our choices. Dinner menu varies and it’s usually a good mix of Italian and other European style cooking. Soft drinks & alcohol are charged extra but again at very affordable prices. Staff are pleasantly attentive and friendly. They don’t speak much English but their smiles & desire to help made our stay very enjoyable. Many other guests are regulars which says something about its service. The hotel comes with its spa & sauna facility, small but does its job.

Cool spa, clean pool with 2 saunas and steam room. Beautiful view from the room. Well equipment gym. Staff is very friendly and welcome.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, offering plenty of space for the two of us. The food was outstanding, with a wide variety of options at breakfast. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant – every dish was absolutely delicious. The wellness area and spa were the perfect way to relax after a day of hiking. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Overall, everything was perfect, and I would definitely return!

Nothing has changed sincel my previous stay in this hotel. Still this is a perfect place to have splendid skiing and great vacation. There is a private comfortable bathroom with a shover in an enough spacious room. Large comfy bed as well. Half board at a very high level especially dinner incl. typical meals. But the major advantage is skiing- huge ski room with a lockers and a direct access to the Rodella gondola lift, ski in and ski out. I would definetely recommend this hotel.

Great rooms good showers and quality towels, the spa is excellent with a pool and sauna etc, Breakfast is very good with a great choice, Fixed menu dinner we didn't use, however you can get a terrific Pizza for 9 Euro, nice bar with a really good barman (Antonio) good beer, all other staff were also very friendly and accommodating, oh and to finish good parking for motorbikes, great stay will be back😎

Well all I can say, is this hotel and especially the staff are a credit to themselves, they made our 4 nights stay there a joy and a memorable one. facilities are excellent, and well worth the time to enjoy a relaxing swim and sauna. food for breakfast and evening meals are to a high standard. Location for touring the dolomites was ideal for our motorbike rides each day.

Nothing, everything was spot on.

Property is in perfect location and amazing views . There is sauna free of charge which is brilliant after hiking. It is important to mention that property offers hiking tours with very experienced guide Stefano. We loved these hikes and only thing I can say - Stefano have chosen perfect hikes at the time of our stay. With amazing views of Dolomites, creeks, forests. Thanks Stefano - you made us to make a plan to come back to Compitella (and hotel Medil ) in the nearest future!!!!

I spent two weeks at the Hotel Medil and I thought it was fabulous. It has great facilities and is a short walk to the ski lift, ski bus, restaurants and bars. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The meals were amazing and most importantly the staff were awesome. They really make the place, no request was too hard. I would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you.

Request to wear swimming caps in the pool - the standard shower cap they wouldn’t accept, you had to buy one in spa reception No kettle and cups in the room, had to ask reception for one. Village is too small and completely dies out after 8 pm - no shops working or bars with people, you are stuck in the hotel in the evenings Hard to get to the place without a car

The huge, comfortable ski room with individual ski lockers. The variety and quality of the food. The friendly and knowledgeable barman. Opportunity to ski with Stefano the excellent hotel ski guide. We were delighted to find Stefano’s services were included. He not only took us on some fun trips, he also helped us plan a few of our own.
