We stopped for a night en route home to the Spanish side of the Pyrenees. Le Closier is beautiful. Fabulously renovated, every comfort we needed, lovely hosts, clean, comfortable and an excellent breakfast. It's a great base to explore the area from with caves to explore nearby and, according to some French guests we coincided with, good golfing!

Being a B&B, we had to find somewhere to eat in the evening. Not a problem as they recommended a great place just a 10 min drive away but if you're there for a couple of days or more, the options in the area are rather limited.

The small hotel and its owners are delightful! We loved our comfortable and clean room and slept well. The owners are friendly and most enjoyable to talk with about travels and life alike. The old castle ruins next to hotel have beautiful views towards the valley. We got great tip for dinner and had fun with their playful dog, Lennie. A place to stay that does not let you down!

Lovely converted farmhouse with magnificent views. Large comfortable rooms. Charming hosts with a friendly dog called Lenny. And a great breakfast in the morning. A great base for cycling the mountain passes, even if we didn’t 😉

Great quiet location. Spotless cleand and tidy rooms wery nicely set up for comfortable stay. Really nice hosts and very helpfull with all knowledge theyhqve about the area. Recommend!

Excellent stay. Hosts really helpful, especially when we had to extend our stay. Really nice room, plenty of space, good facilities, wonderful breakfast, safe secure parking.

Reg and sue, are the loveliest, warmest, most helpful couple you could hope to meet. Our visit was for 5 days to view properties and explore the area. Without their help, we would have not have been as informed and enthused. Thank you so very much. A special mention must be made for lenny. He became our surrogate dog whilst we were away from our 3. He is simply adorable. We will 100% be back when we have more homes to view ! I nearly forgot to add that the location of le closier and the house itself is breathtaking.

Absolutely faultless. Amazing attention to detail. Welcome was second to none. And then there’s Lenny the dog who loves everyone who stays. Especially if they’ll play with his rugby ball.

Nothing it was perfect

It’s a beautiful property , very clean and comfortable.

It’s quite remote , rural location - we found it hard to find a restaurant near by.

Nice welcome by our English hosts. A very elegant, large room and a good breakfast. We were able to eat our evening picnic in the ding room.
