Good stay and great Li River cruise We stayed just one night but had a good experience overall. We booked a lake view room and asked for a high floor. The hotel respected our request, which we really appreciated. The staff were kind and helpful. The location is very convenient, close to key spots. The breakfast was okay, not amazing, but enough to start the day. We also booked the Li River cruise through the hotel ; great decision! Even though we booked a bit late during peak season, they managed to get us seats on a 4-star boat, upper deck, and front row. The meal on board was good, and the views were beautiful. We asked to be seated with locals instead of tourists, and it turned out to be a much nicer and more authentic experience.

great location, the walk around the lake/river (sun&moon twin) and other attractions are easily accessible; rather spacious rooms, some even offer great view on sun&moon twin; spacious reception halls; very clean; friendly staff; reasonably priced, credit cards accepted; hotel bar offers a good choice of beers and a few dishes, I tried several times the local beer (very good) and the fresh fruit plate (generous selection of 4-5 seasonal fruits).

unreliable and dead-slow internet; one may encounter large and noisy travel groups or drunken business men; sometimes they allow smoking in the bar area.

the staff was professional especially the front desk who help us to change room due to them being warm and bathroom a little smelly which may be due to previous occupants smoke inside. anyway got a great connecting room which is perfect for my family at similar floor which is much cooler due to them in different direction. breakfast is good and location is near to everything from sight seeing and F & b outlet. Book deluxe Room with great view facing the twin pagoda , lake and river.

although it is no smoking but i believe some guest still smoke which we can smell sometimes

This must be the best location if you are visiting as a touristic Guilin. The hotel overlooks a Lake, which is always bustling with tourists and very vibey. The lake is lit up and is beautiful to walk around at night and watch locals and tourists enjoying all the facilities and the music and dancing. It is right around the corner from a very busy food pedestrian mall and restaurants, where you are certain to find a meal that will suit you. Our room was spacious and we chose the lake view - good move! Rooms and facilities are kept clean all the time. There is a western style breakfast for those not up to the challenge in the morning and we got by on that. Nothing to rave about but also, more than adequate for our needs. On the first night, we ate in the hotel restaurant, but you would do well to venture out into the street for some good food.

Wifi in the hotel was poor. Both in the lobby and in our rooms. Fortunately, we had our own Chinese simcard and we just turned off the hotel wifi.

This is a fabulous hotel. Room was large with a full wall of window. Great amenities. The pool and spa area offer a steam bath and sauna. The gym was a bit dated but still functional. I don't eat much of a breakfast so I didn't feel the cost was worth it. Bar area was nice and the large atrium is impressive. The concierge managed a Li river trip with return that was perfect and priced below any other 4 star cruise with a private driver who spoke English.

They could upgrade their gym equipment.

We loved the location of this hotel. Right by the lakes and the night market. Great central location and great staff. Good breakfast selection. Very comfortable beds with well stocked bathroom toiletries. Free safe, no deposit needed.

No dislikes re this hotel, we really enjoyed our stay however the rooms with the view of the lakes may be a bit loud, piped music, until 12pm. Didn’t bother us and closed window negated the noise. Don’t let it put you off this roomy, friendly and very efficient hotel.

(1) Location is very close to all key locations; (2) very kind and english spoken staff on the reception desk; (3) there are several good restaurants near by hotel; (4) got in room some local soup with something like a lotos, berries and nuts, as a compliment from hotel - it was very nice👍🏻

Had a sense that furniture and rooms environment were not renovated for a long time, and signs of years usage and different damages were visible. I had choose this hotel, because it has unique feature with human made waterfall on the building facade, but unfortunately it was broken:(

The room , the view, location, rich breakfast, waterfall scheduled every evening.

Even if we could cancel the room booking until 6 p.m. on the day of arrival, our account was debited by the hotel at about 10.30 a.m., when we were in the train, heading to Guilin, where we arrived at about 4 p.m. We were very upset and it took sometime to clear up this unpleasant situation with the receptionist.

We always stay in this hotel when we go back to Guilin visiting family. 3 of us stay in a family suite comfortably with amble space. The location is fantastic, it is right in the old centre of Guilin. The staff are very professional and friendly. It would be the first choice for many visitors.

Used to have complementary evening snacks, which were missing this time.

Though the room were worn out but the view and location was over whelming; Location was superb and people are friendly; The room window alone was enough to immediate your day off; Retailed market next to the hotel made it more appealing.

Noisy market at night right next to the hotel, but everything stops at around 10.30pm
