The design, the history, and the architectural precision were striking. You can feel the legacy of Niemeyer and the optimism of a futuristic Brazil. It’s a rare treat — and remarkably well-priced for a European-based traveler. Pros : special thanks to the architecture tour made by J, organized at the reception desk :)
No iron or steamer in the room. The brutalist charm comes with its quirks: cell signal was patchy inside the rooms, and the Ethernet cable setup feels a bit outdated. That said — the magic of the place easily outweighs these details. Honestly, I came to Brasília for this, and it delivered.

I recently had an exceptional stay at Brasília Palace Hotel, where the elegant ambiance perfectly complemented the attentive service provided by the friendly staff. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring the vibrant city, while my room offered a comfortable retreat with excellent amenities and tasteful decor — like soap / shampoo / hair conditioner / body lotion provided by L'Occitane au Brésil —. From the gourmet dining options to the exquisite attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel, my experience was nothing short of delightful, making Brasília Palace Hotel a top recommendation for travelers seeking Brazilian modern architecture and convenience
I did have a couple of minor disappointments during my stay. The night I arrived, a wedding party was in full swing, and the following morning I noticed that the garden area was far from clean. While this issue didn't overshadow my overall experience, it did impact the tranquility and welcoming environment that I had anticipated.

Design- well maintained mid-century modern architecture at its finest. Furniture matches the era, simple/ less is more elegance. Amazing use of materials. Peacocks 🦚 run rampant on the grounds alongside chickens, geese, and a family of capybaras by the lake. Mangos 🥭, avocados 🥑 and limes 🍋🟩 fall from the trees on the property and are edible. Oscars restaurant and staff is good as well, but did venture next door to the hideous golden tulip for some steaks and snacks.
Sometime in the 80’s-2000’s an unfortunate planning commission approved the construction of two monstrosities on each side of the property, so instead of the lake views, you see 1980’s era horrible designs.

Everything. The hotel is set in a vast area over looking the lake, surrounded by gardens. It's very quiet and all you hear are the sounds of birds and peacocks. There's an entire family of peacocks sauntering around in the garden which is a beautiful sight. I loved the tranquility which the hotel offered. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very courteous.
Please keep more water bottles, not just one small bottle of water for 4 night stay. And plz don't charge for drinking water

Good hotel on the edge of the lake outside of Brasilia. Taxis are required to get anywhere as there is nothing near the hotel, but you can’t really walk anywhere in Brasilia as it’s a car city. The architecture is amazing and the pool is great if the sun is out and it’s not raining. Service was good and breakfast was varied and tasty.
There were 3 large yellow generators on the lawn near the pool. They were incredibly noisy and were on 24 hrs a day. They are for the hotel next door, not even this hotel! I complained to reception and was moved rooms further away from them and they are clearly heard in the room. This is unacceptable. The hotel owner also has a financial interest in the hotel next door which is why they are on this property (reception informed me) The noise of these generators ruined the serene gardens and sitting around the pool. For this reason I would never stay here again. Visit the architecture of the hotel by having a drink in the restaurant, don’t stay here at present.

Staying in an original building designed by Oscar Niemeyer with a view of the lake, lived up to our high expectations, and being neighbours with the Alvorado Palace and the Museum of Fine Art added to our excitement. Having capibara, peacocks and burrowing owls in the grounds was an added bonus. Wide range of food at breakfast - including our first soya milk after a month in Brazil, and great dinners. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Bus from outside the hotel goes into the centre of town past all major buildings of interest.

breakfast was excellent. Great croissants and salmon. :) Location was a little bit far from the center but in front of a lake! very peacefull with bikes and a great garden. We loved it! The best option for Arquitecture lovers!
The shower was not working well but instantly they change us the room and was fantastic!

Very beautiful, classic hotel in a nice location close to the lake. The breakfast is good (not great), but very extended. Extras can be ordered at a cost. Lots of parking. Very pleasant pool, with towels provided by the hotel, and a sauna.
The interior of the rooms, while very comfortable, is unfortunately not the one originally designed for the hotel. The other parts of the hotel do have the original interior.

A wonderful and quiet place by the north lake. We really enjoyed our stay in this outstanding masterpiece of modernist architecture in Brasilia. Rooms are spacious and very clean, all facilities are excellent, staff very friendly and helping. You can walk around the park and enjoy art pieces and the animals around. Breakfast is absolutely amazing! Overall, it looks like a jump in a very luxurious yet accessible past. I would definitely recommend it.

The building from an architectural point of view. The room, spacious and quiet. The hotel is far away from the city forcing clients to hire taxis or rent cars.
The restaurant. The service was very unworthy of the level of the hotel. Not a single waiter spoke English. The wait to get your order was sometimes way too long, wine on the menu but not in stock .... , the menu pretty limited. The breakfast was good.
