A Safe Haven Amidst Chaos – Heartfelt Thanks to Four Points by Sheraton Srinagar We had a wonderful and safe stay at Four Points by Sheraton, Srinagar, during what turned out to be a very tense time in the region due to the unfortunate terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam. Despite the alarming news, the hotel ensured absolute safety and comfort for all guests. The staff was calm, professional, and extremely reassuring, which helped us stay composed and secure throughout our visit. What truly touched our hearts was the warmth and compassion shown by the hotel team. Understanding my mother's medical condition (she is diabetic), they graciously allowed us to cook a specialized Bengali meal in their counter kitchen — something you rarely find in most hotels. It wasn’t just hospitality; it was humanity. As an added gesture of kindness, we were upgraded to a more spacious and comfortable room, which made our stay even more memorable. In a time of distress, Four Points Sheraton didn't just provide accommodation — they gave us peace of mind, emotional comfort, and a feeling of home. No SPA facility.

The rooms were good. Ideal location. Most importantly the staff were extremely courteous. I have to call out two names. Ishfaq from the restaurant was extremely cordial and willing to go the extra mile for the comfort of the guests. I had an issue with our air ticket which meant I had to speak to the airline customer care number. My mobile though post paid wouldn’t work, neither would the call get connected from the landline of the hotel. Rayees from the front office offered his personal mobile to make the call - what I’d call customer delight. Not being able to make that call would mean cancelling one leg of our travel. A big thank you to Rayees.

With all IDs submitted, the hotel not allowing guests to make calls to numbers such as an airline office cannot be accepted whatever is the excuse. The IT guy informed me he has to get an approval from management - which by all means was unacceptable. A CIO approval is not required for a guest to make a call. Didn’t expect such a response from a Sheraton property. The front office staff was extremely courteous but such policies impact the good services offered by the staff.

Breakfast was the biggest takeaway. The food at Four Points was exceptional. Breakfast or dinner, top marks. Special mention to Fayaz. He was our go-to man on everything. He's an asset. He helped us schedule our trip, local information, food joints, shopping, and Pahalgam and quickly packed some snacks for the kids. He was terrific.

Nothing glaringly wrong. The hotel is slightly away from the main areas of the city. So, every time you want to step out, it would cost you a bomb for a taxi. Four points do not entertain sedans, so a dinner trip in an Innova costs 2000/- for the taxi (just 2 km).

Had a wonderful stay at this property! The staff was incredibly welcoming , the check-in process was seamlessly easy, and the rooms were spotless. The breakfast buffet had a great variety . Coming to the staff from housekeeping:- Tasaduq & Jhangir were good at their service. Asif & Syed welcomed us with such a warmth . Hospitality of the staff was outstanding. Highly recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

The property is clean beautiful and the staff are very friendly, the front office team and the restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Umar, raees and there were a few more folks ( I forgot there names) and the special thanks to the restaurant & house keeping team for a wonderful service

Very good staff at the front desk and a very smooth check-in and check -out process . The dining place had very customer friendly attendants and chefs that tried to provide us customized meals on request . Overall very warm set of attendants all across . The room was of optimum size with a spacious bathroom . We were advised well on how to plan to navigate the city in a limited time .

The location of the hotel is good but not Wow . Honestly , nothing much to complain about as the overall service and ambience of the hotel makes up for an average location .

Unfortunately for this hotel front rooms overlook an open rubbish dump over the road. It is a disgrace on the part of municipal authorities to not clean up this rubbish. The staff, especially those at reception, could not do enough for us. My husband has mobility issues and individual staff accompanied him without being asked, ensuring he was safe. They were attentive and caring. We had many conversations with staff and enjoyed their company. The bathroom was accessible, albeit with a too narrow door, but was well fitted with safety features. The chef personally interacted with guests and food was well prepared and nicely presented. Buffets are offered for breakfast and dinner, with a live cooking station. A hotel car with transparent pricing, is available through the concierge. One needs a car to be able to visit hills stations and Dal Lake. The driver we had was informative and assisted us in negotiating prices eg with the shikara person, who wanted to fleece us for four times the correct fee. He prided himself on his care of us. The hotel provides airport pickups and drop offs, and the driver knows the slightly complicated departure routine.

This hotel was overpriced, which seems to be the case for Srinagar’s top hotels, where supply does not meet demand. It does not have a garden or a pool, and one main lounge is down some stairs, which does not leave many options for leisure. One needs a car to be able to visit hills stations and Dal Lake. Non-spicy food is of limited choice.

First of all I would like to thank the following staffs who were outstanding and really welcoming: Ishfaq, Sharrif, Usama, etc...I forgot all names but all of them did very good. Food was good and service was always attended to promptly.

This Hotel is recommended. Initially had a small issue, but the way they addressed it was very professional. The Ast. Housekeeping Manager Altaf was very helpful. Overall, their Meals etc are standard too. Easy to get Autos anytime outside gate. They have a Kids area, Mini theatre, and a good Gym. i suggest they setup a Massage / Spa inhouse as it would be very good for the travelers . Cheers
