This property was beautiful! We loved that it was on a hill overlooking the lake. We got a balcony room and I loved sitting out in the mornings and evenings. The staff were friendly. There was a little store availed to buy alcohol and snacky items if needed so that was great! Could just run to the front desk for little things to buy instead of going out. The parking filled up quickly. The hot tub was very hot and not comfortable so I opted out but my friend was able to tolerate it. We would definitely stay here again.

Didn’t like that the front parking lot was so small.

We wanted to visit State Parks in the areas without sleeping in a tent or cabin. This hotel was simply great! : ) The evening shift receptionist there when we arrived was super polite. Five star material. The lady in charge of the breakfast area was a sweetheart and made us feel very welcome. The view from our balcony was superb. Movie like.

The disposable plasticware at the breakfast area was a bit extreme. Felt like you were in this super great experience yet could not get a decent set of fork and knife. We were not aware they even made disposable plasticware that small and flimsy.

We were staying strictly for pleasure-no agenda. We appreciated the full breakfast & the wonderful attention the staff gave to each person in the breakfast room. The fact that the hotel is pet-friendly was a deal cincher for us as we travel with 2 small pups. There was a good area for them to walk around & get exercise which was nice. Our room was comfy & the staff accommodated out request for extra towels with a smile. The pool area is really nice with a waterfall feature that's very relaxing.

The hotel has water views of the nearby lake and uses the view as an upgrade for cost value. It is pretty, but I don't feel like the small balcony/patio area justifies the extra cost added to room prices. The rooms, themselves, are very similar to most LaQuintas we've stayed in at higher price point than usual.

The staff was very helpful from the very beginning. I arrived late at night and the night and need to update my reservation. The overnight staff were unable to address my issues but told me to check with Sherry in the morning. When I arrived at the front desk at 8am, Sherry knew exactly who I was and told me she has already updated my reservation. The night staff told me why they were unable to make the update but worked great as a team to take care of me. It shows they care. The whole staff was kind. Breakfast was good. There was plenty of seating, and our room overlooked the river, which was a beautiful view to wake up to.

The room was humid, despite the A/C running, and smelled a bit off because of that.

The front desk staff was so friendly! The hotel was wonderful, the hotel overlooks the lake. It was so clean and comfortable. The beds were wonderful I slept like a rock! Breakfast was a full hot breakfast, with eggs, bacon/sausage, hashbrowns, as well as cereal and other breakfast items. The lady that attended breakfast was so sweet! Pool was beautiful and the hot tub is inside, very peaceful. We came to take our boat on the lake so it was great to have such a nice place to stay. Also the marina we launch off is about 3 miles from the hotel.

I have no complaints!

Style of hotel, cleanliness and friendliness of staff

Did not have enough towels in room for the amount of people on reservation so we had to pickup towels on check-in and housekeeping took towels to clean but didn’t replace with the number of towels we needed. Party on 3rd floor conference room? on Friday night and the people were extremely loud and rude after midnight!!! They woke us up with their drunkenness and loud talking and laughing!!!! Some people are just selfish and self-absorbed!

The hotel was is a great location with a lovely view of the water. Each room has a balcony which was nice to enjoy at night watching the sun set. The hotel was clean, staff helpful and polite. The buffet breakfast was good, nothing exceptional. They did have fun toppings for the waffles like mini chocolate chips, nuts, and strawberry topping. Yum!

The room was clean, but it did have a scent, and we couldn’t figure out what it was.

Love the location overlooking the lake. Rooms are very clean spacious. We enjoyed our stay very much. The one thing that concerned us was with some guests. They were playing loud music in the parking lot & drinking beer leaving their beer cans everywhere. When we went to use the hot tub at 8:00 pm they were there with beer cans all around the edge of the tub. We left. Tried to go back at 9:00 pm & they were still there. So we didn’t feel comfortable asking them to leave so we left. Mentioned it to the young man at the desk & he just dismissed it saying it was going to close soon anyway.

The lake view was really nice. It was too cold outside, but the outdoor balcony would have been nice to share a bottle of wine. The staff was very friendly, luggage carts were readily available, and the rooms were very clean.

The breakfast could have been better. It was a breakfast taco bar. The sausage and Chorizo was dry and the potatoes had a weird taste. The coffee was great and the staff was keeping up refilling the choices of food.

Stayed overnite for a golf tournament nearby. The La Quinta was located in an easy location for our needs— close to the course and restaurants and shopping. The fact that it overlooks the water is a bonus, and we did sit outside on the balcony with coffee. Despite being next to the road it was quiet (in the Fall). Breakfast was good & the bed was very comfortable. The whole hotel seemed clean, if just a little dated with the Tuscan-themed decor…although it works for the area. A great basic stay.

If they ever remodel they should insulate/soundproof the walls better. We were able to hear mumbling and tv of both neighbors on either side of our upper room.
