We had a lovely stay. The Culture House and Ytterjärna area is such a special place well worth visiting. Beautiful gardens and walks in the nature reserve close by. Delicious fresh sourdough bread for breakfast, locally made goats cheese and lots of other local products to choose from. Creative, relaxing environment.

There were so many flies at the breakfast buffet - same last time we were here about two years ago. We would have appreciated better curtains or blinds in our room - there was an annoying light outside our room which made it hard to sleep.

Excellent rooms, location very very quiet, staff lovely, food of an excellent quality.

The hotel could do with air conditioning rather than wet radiators. Even in modest temperatures (24c) the rooms get very warm. Parking is awkward for the hotel and the rooms could do with an allocated slot outside.

Breakfast OK but very unhygienic which was disappointing!

Th hotel has become a little bit worn out and needs a shine up.

GREAT CHOICES IN BUFFET BREAKFAST

I went here to go to the Outside Insight art installation and that was wonderful.

There is a "commune" kind of feel here that just didn't sit quite right. It's more of a bunk house with separate rooms. Very bare bones and getting a meal is not easy. And, I was unexpectedly charge for my breakfast the next morning. Kind of a weird experience overall...

Lovely green location with nice rooms in typical scandinavian and anthroposophic design. Beds were hard but comfortable. Staff was helpful on the phone and email but not present when we arrived at 18:30. They helped out with getting us our roomkeys in a safe location though. Choose this hotel for the amazing gardens and estate.

Rooms were not cleaned or tidied up in the 4 days we stayed, not acceptable at this rate. Communication in the emails and text messages we received did not meet the situation when we arrived. Breakfast was ok but was spoiled by drilling. Could they not have waited until breakfast closed at 9 am? Or at 9:30 as the emails we received after booking stated? Rooms were noisy and warm and windows could not be opened because of the flies and mosquitos coming in.

Very good breakfast! Well planned, homemade, organic.

But, the breakfast openening hour did not comply with the information we received from the staff. The second day we had to leave without breakfast (and not a plausable compensation) since it was served one our later with no information when asking the staff. Very quiet - more deserted than charmful. Everything close early and open late.

Good location to stay for taking ferry to Gotlands. Breakfast was simple but good and healthy. The shower was good. It has shared facilities.

The kettle was disgusting and the room was hot. The bathroom was small, only one person can stand inside at a time. The table in the room was disgusting with stains. The reception is not always there for checking in.
