Fine with choices both for Wsterners and Asian guests alike. People say that it is a business Hotel but really the compact rooms were fine as travellers or workers alike are out most of the day anyway. 3 minutes from Nagaoka Station was good for us and also Taxi ranks close by or at Hotel door.

The only thing that we and our daughter found as Westerners is that our beds were toooooooooo firm mattress wise. Westerners choice of mattress is more soft and comfortable!!
