Owner-manager Sarah is a force! She is lovingly restoring a traditional lakeside motel. Her welcome note tells her story and commitment to heritage. An antique stove (no longer working) remains in my kitchenette, with a note about its origins. This is a relaxing, laid-back motel, with shade trees in the parking and chairs outside your door. Congrats, Sarah -- we're coming back!

Easy to get to from road. No hassles for check in or out. What you expect for a roadside motel that is being slowly renovated by the single owner.

Parking is a bit tight if you have a large vehicle. I dont like that previous guests dont respect the property and dont take care of it as they should. Be responsible and respectful to others and the property.

It was cute, quiet and a little odd. Odd as in all of the doors opened outward. A few of the rooms including ours had an "extra" room that was more like a breakfast nook. Refrigerator, microwave and table were all in there. It's far from a Hilton, Best Western or anything similar But it has its own charm. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

We have came to this location twice now in a row it's our favourite place to go for our special moments in our relationship, this time we went for day after our wedding we had the Lakeview room and it was absolutely beautiful, we love coming and staying at Lakeview Motel the owner is the sweetest, very kind and available with any help

Nothing to do with Lakeview owners or motel but there was a few people talking out our door around 1am very loudly and disturbed us from sleep

The people were incredibly accommodating and pleasant. I was not impressed when I arrived at the appearance of the room because it hadnt been updated. Wood panels, green comforter, very dated. I was wrong. It is very clean and charming along with the extraordinary staff, it was amazing and I will stay again and recommend it to anyone!

This is truly the best deal in town. Exceptional customer service, they go above and beyond to make sure all needs are met. The atmosphere is quaint, quiet and peaceful and the rooms are clean and serene.

everything was wonderful, Motel is old but very well maintained by Clint (manager) It is quiet and Clint keeps a good eye on things making it safe as well, If you need anything just ask and it will be provided by Clint or his staff

in my opion there was nothing to dislike, I have stayed here before and always had a great time. The only thing I would like to see is a guide for the T.V. channels in the room

Upon arrival Jim made the check in process fun with a little joke. Instantly, he made it comfortable! The room deliciously decorated with a a very cowboy feel. It was large and to top it off the popcorn really made it very homey. Thank you for such an excellent time. Will definitely come back again…

Loved the room and the closeness to the river was wonderful.

The owner, Sarah is very accommodating, friendly and thoughtful. The place is not fancy, but has a wonderfully cozy feel and is conveniently about 111 steps from a market! I will definitely be returning!!!
