Tasty breakfast. Fantastic location by a lake and Castle where did live the Poet and Writer Chateaubriand. So tasty meals at the restaurant hotel served by an Amazing,Professional and Friendly Waiter Antoni. Succulent food cooked by Talented Chef.Sorry didn't meet Him.Owners of Hotel made us to feel so Welcome.To see Them again soon.

it is convenient to Saint Marlo, so close to stay at before the ferry the next morning.

on arrival, we were told that the restaurant was fully booked for supper which was annoying. The hotel was not full and I’m sure they could have added another table for the evening having to find somewhere else to eat after a long day driving was irritating and inconvenient.

We booked a junior suite. Very spacious. Previously we have stayed in a smaller room which was not so good. The restaurant is very pleasant and the service good. A typical old style menu which we liked.

Bathroom was a little bit cold. But for September the weather wasn’t warm

We arrived a bit earlier than expected, and though we had booked a room with a view of the lake, but upon arrival we were given a ground floor room. When I inquired about the lake-view room, I was told that it wasn't cleaned yet, but they also told me that it was on the 3rd floor, with no lift, which I am not able to access. The ground floor room was actually better than the 3rd-floor lake-view, and I was very grateful for the room change. Also, even though the hotel was extremely understaffed, the employees working that day were extremely helpful, patient, kind, and hard-working, especially the gentleman at the front desk (who was also acting as host and waiter at the restaurant that night!), whose name I think was Melvin or Melville? Excellent person!

They could use some internet/wifi boosters for the rooms in the adjacent building. We had to switch rooms upon arrival because we couldn't get any signal in the first room. We had a marginally better signal in the second. Apparently the signal in the mail hotel and on the third floor of the adjacent building have stronger connections

Gorgeous setting. Our double club room was amazing: beautifully decorated and comfotable; loved the bathroom, spacious and luxurious. The hotel is set in a most characterful location, by a stunning chateau and by a lake, in a gorgeous square with a lovely statue of Chateaubriand.

Nice location but price higher than I expected for quality.

Well, what a lovely little find! We were originally staying in the hotel opposite but when we discovered that the restaurant there was closed Fridays and Sundays, we switched. And we are so glad we did! We loved our spacious room in the annexe with lovely, comfy bed and a view of the pretty garden. The cuisine was so delicious and with an unexpected and interesting choice. Staff were attentive and so very welcoming. We loved our visit to the château too. We will definitely return.

A quiet hotel in a very pleasant situation. Our spacious room had a view over the lake. Nice ambience in the restaurant with attentive service and good food & wine list. Easy free parking.

Whilst we had no complaints about the breakfast itself, staffing of the breakfast room was non-existent. On each morning of our three-day stay we and/or other guests had to leave the breakfast room to ask at reception for a table to be set or for various items to be replenished. This they did willingly, but we were disappointed and felt that the lack of attention let the hotel down.

Relaxing. Comfortable,nice garden and friendly we were made welcome and nothing was to muchtrouble

Perhaps the room could do with an update - but was perfectly fine and not expensive
