I stayed at the manion because I was attending a funeral , after the service I checked into my room and asked the owners which taxi firm was best to use to get to the wake , the lovely guy dropped me to the wake himself stating it’s only a short drive and the taxi firms don’t like short distance , he was chatty and welcoming , the breakfast was lovely , I did say I may check out earlier than breakfast was starting as I needed to get home and the lady owner offered to start breakfast early for me if I wanted The room was clean and comfortable and had everything needed for the one night stay

The hotel is perfectly situated near all the major roads to be able to explore the area for Tenby, Narberth, St Davids etc. The staff are really friendly and helpful and appear to work as a close team. We had stopped to pick up some bottled water before arrival and were pleasantly surprised to see some already available in our room, these small touches really do help. Although “small” the hotel packs in a lot, a bar and lounge area to relax in, a restaurant and ample on site parking and its jewel - a cracking generous breakfast to really setup you up for the day.

The decor may be a little dated for some, with a couple of rough edges here and there but that should not detract from all the plus points it has to offer.

Lovely accommodation in beautiful rural settings with fantastic views of the Welsh countryside. Lots provided as kettle with tea, coffee, chocolate but unfortunately no milk, maybe coffee mate would be good or little sachets so can make tea and coffee. Bottles of water, biscuits and Welsh cakes and small fridge. Great shower, comfy bed.

No milk so can't use the tea or coffee provided but many hotels do this, so I take my own sachets of ready made coffee with milk included.

Due to heavy fog and a delayed journey, we arrived very late. We apologise for this. The person on duty kindly greeted us and allowed us to check in late. We are very grateful. Due to the late time, we could not eat at the hotel as we had planned, but had to find dinner elsewhere en route before we arrived. Breakfast was lovely, very fresh and nicely prepared. The hotel has a lovely breakfast room and sun lounge, and a very pretty garden. We had a great view from our sitting room over open farmland.

This is a very comfortable and friendly hotel, travelling on my own, the staff made me very welcome on this overnight stay. My room was very clean with more than the usual facilities. The lounge bar was perfect for a pre dinner drink before ordering an excellent home cooked evening meal. Breakfast proved to be as good as my evening meal. My grateful thanks to all the staff for making my visit a 'home from home'.

The accommodation was lovely and spacious with a separate living room and balcony looking out onto a field. It is set off the road so very peaceful. Only a couple of miles from Saundersfoot so a good base to explore. We had our evening meal there at short notice for them. It was delicious and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Lovely menu choices for breakfast too.

The bar did not have much in the way of ales for my partner and it closed at 10pm but that is a very small thing for a very pleasant overnight stay.

For the price we paid for our rooms we had an excellent stay. The food was lovely as were the staff. I think there are some renovations going but these do not affect your stay, just the look of some areas. I had a good nights sleep after a long drive and some good food.

If I was to be super critical the bedding could be a bit better, the quilt and the pillows were a bit lackluster but all in all a good stay and yes I would stay there again.

Upon arrival we were granted with an upgrade to one of the suites instead of a double room free of charge, which we were very pleasantly pleased with. The staff member was very welcoming and the suite was lovely, very hygienic and you can tell the bathrooms have been updated recently. There was a fan in the wardrobe which was very handy and you also were able to control the heating of each room yourself :)

Breakfast, evening meal all excellent. The room was slightly cramped but did not bother me too much as I was only there for 2 nights stay and all you do in a bedroom is sleep. The downstairs lounge was very comfortable and well appointed. A decent bar and I was able to read my book in comfort.

Possibly attention to detail in the bedroom. Plaster around the fire exit door chipped. The bathroom sink had a crack which slowly leaked water onto the floor. Obviously the guest before me forgot to tell the staff as when I reported they said they knew nothing about it. The cleaning staff could or should have reported this sooner.

Loved everything about my stay. Everything was immaculate and very clean and comfortable. Bed comfy with clean sheets and towels. Excellent power shower. Excellent breakfast. The views were beautiful! peaceful area with no disturbances. It was a last minute find, and the hosts were perfect! so helpful. I will be booking again to stay here on my next visit.
