The location, view and spa were excellent. Breakfast was good.

What annoyed me, for the price you pay and the location and overall good facilities of the hotel is that the housekeeping was poor. Toilet not cleaned, towels not replaced, robes not replaced (they made a point of saying this would be done as it is a spa hotel). We ate once in the restaurant in the evening and it was mediocre for the price. Better quality available in the town for less. If the bar service was better and they took a little more care over serving something like a G&T then the bar would be busier and have some atmosphere.

The village apartments were a lovely extension of the hotel . We enjoyed the use of the hotel as guests staying in the village apartments. The apartments were located better for the use of the beach and the village. The breakfasts were excellent the dining staff were also excellent nothing was too much trouble and we enjoyed the wonderful views and Spa facilities. Overall I would rate our stay as excellent 😊

I would have preferred a choice of a conventional oven rather than a microwave oven. One night and our last night there was a constant dripping of water when it rained overnight which kept me awake ! These were minor things and I’m sure a check on the guttering may have been needed .

Fantastic views from the dining room, spa and rest areas. Nice room, free parking, free wifi and complimentry hydropool facilities for each night of stay.

Requested a window seat at the Cliff restaurant in the hotel when we booked evening dinner, but on arrival they were all taken and the head waiter stated it was first come first serve and attempted to put us on a table at the furthest point away from the windows. When a window table did become free he told us to wait for the table to be cleared and he will call us when its ready. When he did call us the table had been taken by the people arriving after us. We were furious and decided not to have lunch or dinners there after that evening and went elsewere.

We stayed in the Village apartments which were close to the centre and the beach. Everything required was provided for a self catering stay. Temple Spa products provided which was a definite bonus. We booked a spa session with lunch which was excellent value and highly recommended.

The bedroom looked out onto the street with street lights outside, unfortunately despite the blinds being fully closed at night the light still penetrated the room. This was also the situation in the morning with early sunrises. Perhaps curtains need to be considered for the rooms at the front of the property.

We stayed in one of the hotel apartments, which was spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious and the view from the breakfast room was stunning. As part of our booking we were able to use the spa for 90 minutes - which was brilliant. The pool was a gorgeous temperature (meaning elderly parents could join us) and the view was mega!

Unfortunately there was quite a bit of noise from renovation works (the hotel had warned us a week before our arrival. I can imagine the location is usually peaceful but it wasn't for us!) looked like this work would be finished very soon. There were also roads works right outside our window - not within the hotels control, but meant we were woken to a jack hammer at 8am on the first morning!

Spa is fabulous, amazing views over the bay

Struggled to get a spa booking, which is included in your stay. This was the second time at the hotel and the second time I was told there was no space in the spa. When I explained this was not really on, the spa receptionist did manage to fit us in. Whilst I understand the spa gets busy, if you do not book your room until quite last minute, it is impossible to pre-book the spa. External visitors should not take priority over residents. Luckily we were fitted in and the spa was lovely. But had we not, I would not have returned a third time. In my opinion, each room should get an allocated spa slot (even if it is only 45 mins) as that is the USP of the entire hotel.

Clean and comfortable. Great location, very close to harbour,beach, shops and restaurants.

Car park is tight. our car was hemmed in by another because there were not enough spaces for all the guests vehicles. Steep little incline out of car park to our apartment and quite steep stairs, so might be difficult for less mobile people. Need to ask for apartment at the back of the block if this is the case. No particular benefits at the main hotel by staying at the apartments . We used the spa facilities because it was a special occasion, and they were lovely, but very expensive for what is on offer.

The Spa was very good, although there was some building work still to be completed, we were able to use the spa on a couple of occasions although it was very necessary to book ahead for a space as it was very busy and popular. The view from our room was just a small area from the balcony facing a border fence the if you looked down the narrow path bordering the balcony just able to glimpse the sea from there.

Most things were very good, and there wasn't anything that we didn't really like.

Stayed in hotel apartment which was two storey with bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Roomy lounge with dining table and small kitchen. Small patio with table and chairs.We were a couple but great for family of four. Had 90 minute thermal suite and hydrotherapy pool which was lovely and relaxing. Fantastic views across the beach.

Apartment had combination microwave but no metal plate or grill accessory to use the combination/grill setting. This was reported to reception. The majority of the property was clean but the wooden blinds need opening and the windowsill behind needed cleaning. The aroma sauna was faulty during our spa visit, also reported. We had Sunday dinner in the Cliff restaurant, the roast beef was medium rare. I think you need to ask your guests how they like their meat cooked. Medium well would be better for all.

room was lovely. Booked for my wife's 60th and booked a 'birthday package'. On arrival there was Flowers, Chocolates and a Bottle of Wine in the room. My wife was elated. We went for a spa session, my wife stayed for a treatment but when I got back to the room a member of staff came & took the flowers away stating they were for someone else! I was enraged as my wife had seen them. On her return she was extremely upset. There was NO apology & NOTHING in the way of compensate for the upset caused. It definitely put a dampener on her birthday, extremely disappointing!!! from a reputable hotel.
