For a 2* hotel it's amazing. The breakfast was lovely. The pool was amazing. The staff were exceptional. The room, bed linen and towels were so clean. The view from the pool is stunning. There is ample private secure parking. It's a beautiful hotel and fantastic value for money.

I can see that the steep hill up from town would be an issue for those wanting a night out and wanted a drink. But they do have a great bar in the hotel. It's a shame the restaurant wasn't open for dinner.

Hotel was perfect location a bit of a walk up the hill but nothing major, 5 min walk into saundersfoot. Spotlessly clean. Will definitely be visiting again, ideally located. Can't comment on food as ate in village lots of choice. Good shower power was first class. We stayed in sea view room well worth it amazing views. Comfy bed. 5 🌟 Our visit incorporated outdoor sunset cinema well worth it when it rolls around again.

Pool was very very cold but to be expected, other than that was lovely stay.

Great view from our room. Excellent breakfast. Great swimming pool. Good bar and leisure area.

Bed very uncomfortable. Great location to the town but don’t think about this hotel if you’re unfit or struggling walking. Very steep hill down to the town. A taxi which literally takes 60 seconds to the hotel door cost £5. Incessant screeching from the seagulls. (Not the hotels fault of course, but seriously annoying from 4 in the morning)

We liked staying by the outdoor pool, taking a timely walk down to the beach where we done a bit of shopping, lots of bars there and pubs, oh and a skeleton sitting outside one shop, this tickled us a bit. And made us laugh. The fish chip shop opposite the arcade bus stop sells tasty food, and the Captains table has a tasty pint, we liked this pub best cos it's got lots of room outside, which suited us. The room was clean and the stay was relaxing lots of tea and coffee, it's a place where you can relax and have a pleasant view of the beach. Bus service is good, trips into various places such as Tenby are easy to make, open top bus is best. Leave the car at Merlewood and have a day out because parking at Merlewood is free.

There's a short uphill walk. My wife struggled a bit with this , but what do you expect, I am 70, and she is 64. Don't be afraid of the hill she beat it in the end. Or there's a taxi.

Breakfast was nice, although not included and had to pay extra. Staff were nice, friendly and happy to help. Pool looked lovely although we didn’t go in as middle of September. Views from hotel very nice. Location for us was just right, hotel just up on the hill outside the main hustle and bustle (noise) so you could get a good nights sleep

Tv in room was very small. bedroom window Glass old fashioned with safety grid lines running through which spoilt the sea view and pool. Bathroom could do with a bit of modernising.

The hotel is in an excellent location with views over Saundersfoot. Pauline and her team are friendly and professional. The breakfasts were excellent. Our budget, dog friendly room was compact but clean and comfortable.

We didn't have hot water or heating one day. Apparently other guests had found it too warm so the boiler was turned off (it was about 10° C in April). We were given an electric radiator the next day which resolved the problem.

Good location. Wasn't expecting the hill! Easy to get to Tenby from there. Lots of room in the car park.

There was a man in the room below, that spent his days complaining on the phone, and his nights snoring and making noises. And he wakes up at 7am and starts again, so that wasn't the best. But it's potluck with this type of thing. I was lucky I brought ear plugs, I learned that trick last year in Milford Haven, from the man upstairs!!

Location fab. Bedding and towels immaculate. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice on offer. Staff went out of their way to provide an early breakfast prior to our trip to Skomer. Staff couldn’t do enough to ensure stay was comfortable. Shower was ridiculously powerful and really refreshing and lovely.

Property is dated and furniture is tired. But this did not affect us in any shape or form, would definitely stay again.

Pauline, Ben, and the lady who serviced the rooms were exceptional! Pauline is such a gentle lady. Nothing is too much trouble for any of these people. I took a fishing trip and they offered to gut my catch and store them in the freezer for me. ♥️ I was staying just 2 nights, ended up staying 3 nights, and even then I was reluctant to leave. I'll definitely take a dip in the pool next time I visit!

With a view of the sea from my room ♥️ seagulls were awake early. That's nature though. Just take your ear plugs!
