From the second we walked in to Jabajak we felt instantly welcome. What a beautiful place. Wine tasting and history about Jabajak was great and very interesting, the host ‘Kev’ was extremely informative. The Bar lady, waitress was amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful. The food was beautiful. Evening meal and breakfast. The owners were fantastic and made our evening very special and one we will remember. We loved the home from home, chilled, relaxed vibe. Whilst also receiving a high quality stay. We will definitely be returning and recommending. Thank you to all the staff, Marc and Dannie.

Very nice comfortable room in a lovely setting. Fabulous food and really great service. The staff were brilliant and our meal was delicious. I liked the provision of a mini-fridge in the hallway with fresh milk for our tea and coffee.
I have no complaints after enjoying a really lovely stay. But I am surprise the hotel claims to be 5-star. As nice as it is, I don't think it meets the criteria for achieving 5 stars using any of the usual classification systems! It also lacked all the extra special little touches you would normally find in a luxury hotel. I would class it as a very lovely 3-star hotel attached to a fine dining establishment.

Nestled in the countryside with a beautiful feeling of getting away from the hustle and bustle. A modern Welsh vineyard making a name for itself in competition with wines from the new world. Steve’s masterclass in wine tasting was a delight before dinner when we made new friends and had great craic. Gorgeous dining room in the old smithy and big comfy seats in the bar. Dinner and dessert from Lewis in the kitchen was fantastic in the true style of a family delivering hospitality in unity. Breakfast straight out of the top drawer. Nicole’s welcoming smile and front of house attention to detail made us feel like part of the family too. A beautiful home from home for our first wedding anniversary celebrations with White House Wines from the vineyard outside. An experience we will never forget. Thank you all so much.
We had to check out. 🙁

The staff were very friendly and personal throughout the stay making sure we felt welcome and accommodated. It also had a very friendly atmosphere, where we even interacted with other guests after our dinner. The food was top tier, arguably Michelin star worthy, cooked by the friendliest chef, who came to see us after our dinner, to ensure everything was up to standard and what we liked/didn't like about the meal. Breakfast was included in the price of the room, which we were very happy with, and it was delicious. The beds were extremely comfy and the room was very cozy, and had very good amenities, such as a coffee machine and a smart TV. The wine was phenomenal and we will definitely be staying here again for how brilliant everything was!
The wait for dinner was quite long, but we were made to feel comfortable and managed to taste their wine in the meantime while we conversed with their bar staff/manager.

They were open for booking as this time of year lots of places close after Christmas for a few weeks in this part of the Wales. We were celebrating 2 birthdays & wanted to go out for dinner enjoy a few glasses of wine & stay over so no one had to drive but also didn't want to travel too far from home for 1 night. Jabajak offered all of the above. As they are also vineyards, we took part in their wine tasting experience. We had a lovely dinner & and a great breakfast the next morning before heading home.
The room we stayed in was upstairs & although the radiator was on, the room felt a bit cold & damp & in the morning there was quite a lot of condensation & on the walls of the room.

The hosts were lovely and friendly. The breakfasts were very good and nothing was too much trouble if we wanted something different. We didnt eat in at night as we had eaten early before we got back on our 3 day stay so cannot comment on the meals. The location was out of the town which we didn't mind at all and the outside setting was lovely. Good outside seating was available.
The room was a little small. Although clean and comfortable. Due its size it meant no comfy seating available other than the window seat so had to sit or lie on the bed. Again due to its size no facility to hang clothes. We only stayed for 3 nights so it wasn't too much of a problem.

This was a return visit, and we were warmly greeted by Nicole. This time, we stayed in the Grainstore as a treat to ourselves, following a stressful few weeks at work. Having previously done the wine tasting, we opted for a bottle of their own 2022 white for a pre dinner tipple and had their red with dinner. Both are award worthy as is their food, which was fabulous once more, and we can not rate their restaurant and staff highly enough. We certainly recommend a visit. It was wonderful to park the car, enjoy the views and let go of all of lifes stresses. A purely magical and luxurious night away. 🌙 🍷

This is a gem of a location - secluded and felt special to be within a vinyard. It was a real step-off the grid. The restuarant is exceptional - great food, well presented and full of flavour. As a veggie, I somethimes feel a bit short changed but this was the best vegetable wellington ever!
There was nothing bad about our stay - if I was to be really picky, our room was pleasant, clean and comfy but nothing particularly unique - made up for that by the lovely location.

We were given a wonderful welcome when we arrived and all the staff throughout our stay were really friendly and helpful. The room was very clean with all the facilities that you need. Our meals and breakfast were cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. We really enjoyed the wine tasting experience. I love the location as it's so quiet and peaceful.

Lovely converted farmhouse, rustic with a boutique feel and very comfortable. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. A special mention for Kevin who was the perfect host and who gave us a very informative and enjoyable hour of wine tasting with a bit of history thrown in! Last but by no means least the food was outstanding, everything we ate was delicious , beautifully presented and sourced mostly from local ingredients, the chef is clearly very talented. All in all we had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend. We hope to be back soon.
