Pleasant room, decent size, also decent size bathroom with shower and bath, comfortable bed, nice view over park, and quiet, despite being on a mail road. Bar with fair amount of seating (except when there's an event). Restaurant also pleasant, and generous portions of food. Breakfast good, with a fair amount of choice. Nice fresh grilled tomatoes. Generally a comfortable slightly old fashioned (that is not a criticism!) hotel. Very close to the centre of Narberth. Easy free parking.

One of our party was in a room which had a bad smell from the drains - this was dealt with fairly rapidly, but is obviously an ongoing problem for that part of the hotel. It would have been nice to have some fresh fruit at breakfast. The wine list at dinner was extremely limited, and the bar ran out of sparkling water which was a bit strange. There was an event during our stay (on a weekday) which meant the bar and seating area was extremely busy, and parking not so easy.

Great facilities and the stuff were so friendly. Helena and Sally especially were so helpful with info and the service they provided was impeccable. The hotel itself was really impressive with unique decor. When we return for another holiday, we will be definitely booking here again. Thank you again.

Food options were a little let down. We wanted to book a table sitting outside in their wonderful fire lit table, but kids option were almost none and the rest of the food was more the higher end, not comfort. Maybe if the had more comfort food at a decent price, the restaurant would be more busy.

I arrived a little bit earlier than the official check in time but was very pleased to be granted access to my room anyway. I was attending a local funeral service and the wake was being held here so it was very much appreciated to be able to get changed beforehand. Thank you to the friendly man with earrings on the reception desk! The veggie breakfast was amazing - too much to eat (although I really tried my best!) The lady serving was very efficient and very friendly. I think she had a Birmingham connection? Thank you!

Good location, pleasant bar & restaurant area. Parking available. Nice white towels, comfy bed. Breakfast menu choice.

Room 9 was very warm and we had the window open all the time. Which over looked big fan boxes. The floor was creaky when we walked in our room. The fan came on when we turned the light on in the bathroom. Bed furniture painted off white with lots of cup stains. Could do with re paint. No clothes hangers when asked at housekeeping room told there was none in the hotel and they were waiting for an order. Had to complain to reception. Staff overall ok, but not great at smiling customer service etc. Ordered my brek 1 egg, 1 bacon & toast. Came out 3 bacon 2 eggs which were overcooked! Staff on shift took it away and said I ll get you another one. Lacked some customer skills.

Second time staying in the hotel and it’s always a lovely stay. The room is perfect for us and the bed nice and comfy. The staff are all friendly and the location is perfect as just a short walk into the Main Street in Narbeth and only a 20 minute drive to Saundersfoot

The menu online was different to the menu in the restaurant on the day and it didn’t have the food I wanted. Not a massive issue but I was really looking forward to the risotto as I had it the last time we visited and it was incredible.

The Hotel is old and must be hard to maintain. That said it was spotless and the antique features are superb!, it was very well decorated and ornate. The breakfast was fantastic the ingredients were very high quality and were cooked to perfection every time. The homemade Welsh cakes are just one example of attention to detail. Staff were very professional and attentive. We were in the main dining room on our first day and then moved to the spare dining room on our second day. The second room is not as spacious or as grandiose as the main room I’m unsure why the change but can only put it down to guests who only stay one night must experience the main dining area?

The change in dining area we were at little confused at, there were other guests there who were also discussing this.

We arrived too late for dinner, but the reception staff were very helpful calling round local restaurants until they found a place that could serve us. The next evening, we sat on the covered terrace outside the bar with friends - very efficient fire pit made it lovely and warm, despite the evening chill!

There is no lift (understandable, it's a lovely old house) which meant carrying a heavy suitcase up a staircase and through some awkward, heavy fire doors.

all the staff were super friendly and helpful, made us feel welcome and well looked after. they checked with us while we were en route to check our arrival time so they could make arrangements to leave the key, for example. also very flexible when we were checking out, which helped a lot

The room was spot on; clean, comfortable and spacious, if we're looking for things that could be improved then the only thing that would have helped would be the bathroom extractor fan working!
