We just went to stay for a night and the area was quite peaceful. The room, bathroom and beds were clean hence we have a good rest. The owner was a lovely guy and guided us to visit some nice places nearby. Overall, it was a good experience.
I think you can include bath towels and some small accessories required to get ready in the morning, it will make experience much better for people staying there. It was just a suggestion as I know you have mentioned that these facilities not included on advertisement.

Beautiful views of the river towy. The place was very comfortable and an easy space to relax in.
Only thing is the bar and restaurant that is a part of the hostel wasn't open while we were there but there are plenty of options of places to eat. Also the kitchen was very easy to use for any of your own cooking.

We received a warm welcome from Ken & his wife & felt very much at home in the hostel which provided everything we needed for a comfortable & most enjoyable stay. The location is superb with excellent opportunities for exploring. Footpaths & bus stop close by. Ample parking spaces & easy access. Meeting the other friendly & interesting guests was a bonus & food & drink from the onsite bar/eaterie was superb. Thankyou to all & especially Ken for a wonderful stay & providing such unique accommodation & a memorable experience.
Nothing!

Such a wonderful area and friendly place to stay for the night. The man who owns it is extremely knowledgeable both about the local area and the world in general. They have a really nice bar that feels more like a pub and he cooks up some excellent Mexican grub. Even if the Welsh weather doesn't quite like up to the Mexican climate, it is still a mini Mexico in a remote part of Carmarthenshire
Nothing to dislike really. It's worth knowing they don't have a breakfast option.

I am walking the Coastpath so arrived on foot. I had telephoned Ken a few days before to check on food availability as it was a Sunday I would be staying. Clear markings from footpath as described and I was met on arrival even though it was before official checkin. Very welcoming and great fun chatting with Ken. Hostel facilities were as described, very clean and beer and food from bar was perfect and appreciated too. Thank you!

Host was excellent. Very welcoming and friendly. Simple and effective facilities. Added benefit of a bar too, which was considerably cheaper than the hotel I was at the wedding for!
Slightly musty smell to the room. Not unbearable but noticeable.

Proper hostel. Comfortable bedroom with nice communal areas great for chatting in. The owner, Ken, is super welcoming and cooked a very tasty Mexican meal!
I forgot to bring things to make tea in the morning!

Value for money. Welcomed. Comfortable sleep. All rooms are private bookings. Quiet location, opened the window in the morning to hear the birds singing. Clean. Kitchen use a bonus. Recycling facilities. Love the Mexico theme and other decor from around the world.
Nothing negative to say.

We enjoyed the bar, clean and hot showers, and the possibility to check in late at night. The owner/bartender is a great man who traveled the world and gave great recommendations for our travels around Wales. We would love to stay again!
The bed was noisy so every move at the upper bed was heard…
