Great location, good size rooms all clean and tidy, half an hour from our favourite beaches, and really lovely staff. Lovely breakfast!

Even though the room was clean and tidy, it was very damp, the first night when we got into bed, it felt wet, we had to leave a radiator on all the time otherwise the beds felt cold and damp. Anything left on the floor felt damp. There was mould in the corners of the room. You could see that it had been wiped and apart from that everything else was perfect.

I was very unsure about staying here as it was a very good price. The room were vey spacious and clean the staff were excellent very friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant that evening there were 12 of us the food was beautiful every thing was hot again could not fault it. We had breakfast and that was amazing too. We had 3 lovely breakfasts for £22, Weel done The Forge for a lovely stay

Just the weather

We enjoyed our stay the pool and sauna were a bonus was lovely had the pool to ourself lovely and warm , room was clean , spacious room had 2 double beds and had room for travel cot , ideal location for local attractions (folly farm , Heatherton ,manor wildlife park), 24hr petrol station right next door if you forget anything .

The mattresses wernt the best were a little hard apart from that everything else was great .

Swimming pool was the best part, room was great, two double beds perfect for family stay beats the sleeper couch any day.

The food in the restaurant very disappointing. Garlic mushrooms weren't cooked properly and garlic sauce was sour. Garlic bread was burn. Breakfast was extremely oily, vegetarian sausages not nice, tinned tomatoes were disappointing. Chips were the most pleasant, coleslaw was chunky and way too much onion

The hotel was easy to find, exceptionally clean and spacious.The road side view of highway was good from benches laid just outside of the restraunt..Breakfast(although paid seperately) was very delicious.Plenty of space around to play with kids.Swimming pool was very clean and warm..though sona was not working yet we enjoyed the pool quite a lot.The car parking was just infront of the rooms.With gas station nearby and small co op in it made access to drinks/waterbottles and small edible stuff easy. We certainly will stay here again whenever we will visit this area of wales.

Nothing to dislike really.Only things we felt ( may be i cudnt figure out) was that there was no exhaust in bathrooms.

Myself i booked a 4.30am ferry from the iow, picked up my cousin 6am from Southampton travelled a long way to get to wales where i hadn't been before! Arrived and was welcomed lovely by staff and i asked if i could check in earlier they gave us our key. I can honestly say i was exhausted and haven't driven so far in my life. They also extended the breakfast time from 11.00am to 11.30am. Fantastic Breakfast that really set us up for the day. Thankyou Thankyou staff made our short stay a lovely experience . I added another day as it was such a lovely place to stay. NO 7 was our room number . Thankyou Lucy x

Ideal location for our needs, we did not eat at the Forge so can not comment on the food. The room was a little warm due to a radiator being stuck on, this was in the hallway so we could close the door.

The only suggestion I would make is get the cleaners to use a brush of sort to clean the shower a little better, it was not good.

Perfect location to rest during a road trip. You have a gas station right next door and a little shop to refuel yourself as well.

The light was going out every couple minutes in the night, we didn't want to plug our devices to avoid them being damaged by the flakyness of the electric grid in the room.

Bed was reply comfy, I enjoyed the shower. Room was clean and there was plenty of space. Pool and sauna looked good from what I saw although I didn't get a chance to use.

The decor was a little outdated for me. Food wasn't good for the price, even breakfast. So we ate out mostly, which is a shame.

The location was fabulous and with a gas station next door. We had a family room and to say it was spacious is an understatement, two king size beds in the room and a good size bathroom. Fairly comfortable mattresses. While breakfast was not included in the price we paid, it was reasonably priced. And the staff were happy to substitute other products for eggs.

Nothing much not like. Maybe if I have to share anything here...I was disappointed that the pub closed at 10PM.
