Location and the staff were excellent.

We stayed in Room 43. It has a huge bathroom. The second sink was clogged and we had to remove the sink filter for the water to be drained. Need some attention to the shower on the bath tub and also to the shower curtain. Difficult to have a shower as it split water everywhere even though the curtain is there. When we spoke to the receptionist she said all other rooms with the same category also has the same bathroom. There was a damaged small bin in side the bathroom. It was bent all around. Always it has to be opened by hands. Also give some attention on the second bed. The mattress is not comfortable. Please give some attention on above. Thanks

The room was nice enough,little dated,furniture worn,but clean room. Parking was fine. The spa area looked grimey in certain places, for example all around the windows by the jacuzzi green mould around the bottom. The shower before you go in the pool doesn't work properly. Could do with facelift. Breakfast was ok,but as I attended 845 the hash brown were rock hard and not edible. Staff are extremely helpful & will bend over backwards for anything you need. The meal in the evening was beautiful and reasonably priced.

Spa with swimming pool area- cleanliness

Location was excellent for all we wanted for the wedding, retail shopping area and then for Oxwich bay after. The staff were FANTASTIC, very welcoming and responsive to needs. Dinner was high standard and brekkie was absolutely solid English breakfast+continental breakfast bar. Good parking on upper+lower levels

I think the decor was slightly old school for some people's tastes. But I'm a bit old school and didn't mind -especially because everything was neat, the service was excellent+warm and there are a great array of facilities (spa, dining area, outdoor seating, lounge area with TVs for the game) to use there. Careful with how you park on the upper level as some cars got blocked in when delivery/transport vehicles did their drop off in the central upper parking area.

The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Attended party night which was excellent and the food was fantastic along with breakfast the following morning. My room was bigger than expected for a single and was warm and clean.

The decor needs upgrading along with the outside of the building the railings looked rusty and tired. The spa was a little tired and needed a total refurb. The changing rooms and showers could be better, but we're clean.

Friendly staff, nice food in restaurant, generally comfortable room, lovely massage in the spa. There were loud functions going on during our stay (no pre-warning) - we were moved to a quieter side of the hotel which we appreciated.

The spa (pool, steam room etc) area could do with a good deep clean, especially the floors (eg under chairs, in steam room, hair & gum etc on the floor). Lots of staff around but didn’t see anyone mop/ wipe the floors while we were in there (and it wasn’t overly busy). The room was clean, but we were woken several times by noisy guests during the night then by cleaning staff chatting loudly outside our room in the mornings. Food and service in restaurant was good, decor was strange.

The staff couldn't do enough for you, very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Loved the Saturday night with the live music in the bar, not over powering, very relaxing and had good vibe. The beds were comfy, the shower was good pressure and great that had a bath too. Lots of parking Restaurant was nice and the food was lovely, service was great.

I didn't like the road noise, we stayed in the coach house, windows are not double glazed so really noisy as it's a busy road in the daytime, at night it does go quiet so no issue then.

Lovely hotel...good friendly staff

Couple of things with food, breakfast was a bit disappointing, croissants were slightly stale and the food seemed to come out in bits so you couldn't get everything (toast, fried egg, in one go)... we also had a welsh cheese board in the evening as a snack but this was more crackers with tiny bits of cheese hidden underneath. Disappointingly we couldn't use the pool on the sunday morning before leaving as it was being cleaned...I guess they have to clean it sometime but if I'm only there for the weekend arriving late friday and busy sat afternoon then I would have liked to have used it in the morning before leaving...

The staff absolutely made it. They were lovely and helpful throughout. They put some birthday sprinkles on our dinner table for my husband which was a nice touch. I was surprised that we weren’t given bathrobes at the pool to take back to the room - felt a little less ‘Spa’

Our bathroom had a broken toilet seat and bin. Nothing huge but took away from it being completely luxurious.

Couldn't fault the place, particularly with the Booking.com Genius discount applied. Quality gaff throughout; the room was recently refurbished to a high standard, the breakfast was on the button with veggie sausages upon request, and the leisure facilities modern and spotless. The restaurant for dinner was splendid, with limited, but excellent veggie options if that's your bag. We personally though food and drink pricing was very competitive. Very friendly and efficient staff, and complementary parking. The hotel is a mile or two from the town centre, but there are retail parks and pubs a minutes drive away. Would unreservedly recommend.... but dine early as the kitchen closes at 9pm, as we discovered to our irritation.

Only one thing... before 9:15pm a waitress wandered over to inform us that that the kitchen had now closed, so we could not order desserts. Really? For a hotel restaurant of this standard, we were nonplussed. Not ideal,, but would not have been too bad if they would have advised us before 9pm so we could have ordered in advance... this really was out of kilter with the otherwise extremely high standard of hotel, restaurant and spa. Strange one.

I was visiting a member of my family who lives near the Hotel Diplomat, so I had a good spa swimming and reunion dinner very nice 😋. .

The staff were wonderful in every part of the hotel . And very kind to myself and family members how is very old and is a little worried 😟 about is size but we're very happy and made to feel welcome 🙏 .
