The hotel is tucked away in a quiet lane, making it an ideal base for exploring Gower and Swansea area. I stayed in the main building, in the St. Teilo room, which featured a generous private terrace, with outside seating, overlooking the church. The hotel itself is well-presented, clean, and cosy. My room was well-equipped, with 2 occasional chairs and side table, large TV, a dressing table and chair, mirror, wardrobe, safe, ironing board/iron, and kettle. In addition to wall heaters, a freestanding air con fan and extra heater. Lots of plug points. The bathroom is spacious, with a great shower over the bath, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. As a solo traveller, I felt safe, especially with the electronic key fob entry on the main door. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order, generous, and delicious. Since I visited in winter, I unfortunately couldn’t make use of the beautiful front terrace and garden, but they looked like a fantastic spot to relax in good weather. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again.

We stayed in one of the dog friendly lodges for two nights. The room was very spacious and had a large bathroom. The bed was really comfortable. We didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The staff made you feel welcome on arrival. The hotel is in a good location for visiting the beaches and other sites around the Gower. Would recommend a stay.

Only a couple of minor things. The outside light was not working, so at night, it was a bit dark when trying to find the key hole to unlock the front door. The roller blind in the bathroom was broken. However, we did report these to the reception.

Room was spacious and spotless. We stayed two nights and had everything we needed. Fresh towels and robes each day. Location couldn't have been better for exploring this beautiful corner of the world and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Breakfast could have been better for the money we paid. It wasn't included in the price and we expected a little more considering the rest of the hotel was of such high standard. Coffee wasn't very hot and the apple juice appeared to be apple coloured water as had no taste whatsoever. but the food was very tasty and we were able to bring our dog along which was nice.

Location is superb. Really quiet and peaceful yet not far from Mumbles and other Gower attractions. Room was lovely, bed and pillows super comfy indeed ‘just right’. Excellent value for money too! Thank you.

I enjoyed my breakfast but a little more choice of cereal and other items wouldn’t go amiss. Granola and yoghurt perhaps? Honey? Granary bread rather than just ‘brown or white’ (I was given a toasted slice of each without being asked). Being told where to sit, right next to another couple when the room was empty was also a tad unusual.

Decent size bedroom with a huge bathroom. Everything is spotlessly clean and the furnishings look fresh and new. The senior staff were very friendly and highly professional. The location feels rural although there are pubs, convenience shop nearby. If you have a car, the location is ideal for exploring the Gower pensinsula.

In many ways this is an excellent hotel but it would benefit from a mystery guests report as there are some small niggling issues e.g. toilet lid wouldn't stay up, bathroom fan very noisy. Allow plenty of time for breakfast. We stayed for two days and the service at breakfast was very disorganised on both days. This was partly due to the inexperienced waiting staff but mainly the kitchen seemed to struggle with the large number of guests. However, when the food did arrive, it was excellent.

A small, charming hotel nestled amidst lush trees offers a tranquil and serene ambiance, ideal for a well-deserved respite from the rigors of daily life. The comfortable bedding and immaculate bathroom contribute to an overall pleasant stay.

I got a porn star martini that was not very nice, a lovely young guy made it and I felt bad to send it back. I am sure he made it trying his best but it was a big tank of fruity juice and ton of alcohol, not major issue, just saying as is the only thing I could think of 🍹🍸

We enjoyed our stay at this small hotel. The quality of the decor is very high and the room and bathroom were spacious. The staff are very friendly. We enjoyed the cooked breakfast but would have liked a better selection of cereal, fruit and perhaps a pastry.

We ate in the restaurant one evening but were not impressed with our main meal. The bottle of white wine was served at room temperature and took a long time to chill in the ice bucket. The hotel was quiet and the restaurant lacked atmosphere.

Spotlessly clean and very quiet. We stayed in ‘Parkhill’ room which had a lovely bath. Brilliant value for money - would highly recommend. The Gower beaches all easily accessible by car and there is also a beautiful walk to be done from the door down to Brandy Cove and around the coast. Excellent pub a short walk on a footpath uphill to the right of the church - The Joiner’s Arms. Do not hesitate to book this room as a superb budget option.

In general the quality of everything, food, furnishings throughout, service, location and tranquility.

Strange oddities that didn’t match the overall quality: Motorway type circular toilet paper dispenser in the bathroom; tonic water only available from a multiple soda drinks flex-tap which was pretty flat due to the gas cylinder needing replacing; and sauce dispenser at breakfast similar to the type used on burger vans!

Everything!! The gower hotel is a gem. the team were all so lovely & friendly. perfect for bringing your dog, location excellent. food was fab so was the service. The room was gorgeous, spotless, spacious and warm (but not too warm)

absolutely nothing to not like apart from we only stayed 2 nights and I wish we could have stayed longer
