I’ve been coming to this hotel for about 2 1/2 years to visit friends in Swansea every other month or so and I like the location it’s right in the High Street so I can reach the market and the shops very easily and I can find the hotel from the station it’s within walking distance of all the places I need to get too.

I don’t like being placed in the room where the taxis are outside and you can hear the constant beware of the boulders. It’s a real noise and it’s a shame because the room is very tidy and clean and if it wasn’t for the noise I would score it higher

Great location, cheap and cheerful, comfy beds.

The manager was really nice and helpful, it was quiet and the beds where Very comfy like sleeping on a cloud.

Was charged £72 for a twin £55 room but only because Rearranged dates even on the date we where staying and the manager still let us change but was then charged £72 instead also you have to pay a £100 fee before your allowed the key to your room and was absolutely puzzled with that as wasn't advertised whatsoever. No WiFi on TV, few Uht milks, 2 tea bags, broken sink which manager even said was no problem so had to brush our teeth over the bath. Rough crowds outside when going.to smoke. Don't think we will be returning soon.

My first impression was that I thought it looked dated, and it was, but the rooms were clean the staff were easy going and very helpful 😀 the location was excellent and the staff told us about the multi storey carpark a few minutes away £5.00 for 24 hours, fantastic price great staff providing the information, John should advertise this on the dolphin website, we went for our daughters graduation and there was a gold path almost outside the hotel that went straight over the new bridge and into the graduation hall fantastic and the price of drinks in the pubs was very cheap win win all around

Staff were outstanding,nothing too much trouble. And the location of the hotel.

We stayed in a family room 215 the door was making a very loud banging noise through the night in the twin bedroom. Either from someone trying to get into our room not realising they were trying the wrong door,or it was like a pressure wind whenever someone went into their room from their door! Either way it was very very odd and disturbing and a bit scary on times when it wakes you up. So didn’t get much sleep, plus you can hear the boy racers in their cars.

Friendly receptionists. Two males and one female. They were lovely. Best location in city centre. Parking was around the corner about 8 mins walk and was 9 pound for 24 hours

There was hair in the shower, sink and a vape stinker on the sink. Cleaners obviously don’t look well enough when they are cleaning. Very flat pillows but they were ok together and receptionist gave me another when I asked. Little bit noisey but I kinda expected that and look half a sleeping pill.

Would like to thank the staff member on the night of June 9th for being amazing! My partner suffers from Hyperacusis; and due to the noise of one of the customers; he couldn't rest. This gentleman moved us to another room and was very considerate and understanding. Would recommend as the staff are lovely. The hotel itself does exactly what it says it does! Just right and in a great location. If we decide to go back to Swansea; we will be staying here!

The noise coming from a bollard outside, but once you closed the soundproof windows, it wasn't too bad. The cleaners are a bit noisy with their music playing first thing in the morning. People staying in the hotel were just noisy, not considerate of others at all. Coming in on the am and stomping through and slamming doors. It has no negative reflection on the hotel as they can't exactly monitor who's booking in etc.

The staff were very helpful and the room was clean and well equipped. My friend and I were going to a show in Swansea Arena and the hotel couldn't be better situated, literally a five minute walk to the Arena and right in the middle of the town centre, couldn't ask for more. We were also amazed at the indoor market so much to see and absolutely thriving 😀

Our only criticism was the pillows, we both woke the next morning with a headache as the pillows were like cardboard 😔.

Very friendly staff, comfortable, spacious room and very comfortable bed! Nice, large bathroom! Also the room is cosy and warm which we really enjoyed. The location is fantastic, right at the centre! I'd happily come back for a short stay 😊

Maybe add a few hangers in the bathroom for the towels and improve the breakfast (selection is a bit limited). Also add a blanket in the room in case guests need it.

The staff were very helpful, like myself the morning crew were not as lively as in the evening but that didn't stop them from being kind and interested. My room was clean and warm, it felt very secure and private. There were two beds with plenty of towels. The desk was comfortable and useful. The deep bath was very tempting. I was glad to see the tea kettle and tray with all the supplies needed for some very welcome tea. It was easy to sleep in such a quiet place. The hotel feels as if it is right in the middle of town and morning brought a lot of foot traffic. Snacks were available, as was breakfast, at the bistro in the reception area. The lift located right beside the reception desk made it very simple to get to my room and to check out the next morning. The clerk at checkout called for a taxi and joined me out front to make sure that I didn't miss it when it arrived.

The bed was more firm than I like but I still slept well. The room got very warm but not uncomfortably so. I prefer having the option of an indirect night light but the light in the toilet was motion activated and all other lights were too direct - even so I didn't get lost on the way to the toilet nor trip over anything.
