Single room was comfortable and had everything I needed for an overnight stay. Really good to have on site parking. Close to seafront and other places to get food after 7.30. Very quiet in room after entertainment stopped downstairs at about 10.45. Receptionist said there are quieter rooms so I will ask for one of those next time. Very spacious hotel.

No food available at 7.30pm but I walked to nearby places still open for food. Music downstairs was uncomfortably loud in room but it stopped at about 10.45pm so ok. Like most hotels in UK at the moment, it could do with some t&c in places.

Fantastic hotel. Wonderful location is spot on. The crew that work the hotel are lovely and so obliging. Such lovely manners too. The room we had was lovely and we had a good view of the sea. Parking is free and very convenient to the hotel. Lifts to the upper floors are such a welcomed addition. Entertainment in the evening and day trips during the day, if interested. Games room and lovely comfortable seating. We will be returning again. Probably every year from now on. Hopefully, a room at the front of the hotel next time for a slightly different view. A bar and restaurant too. Thank you.

Could do with plug socket on each side of the bed. So, not a dislike. Rather an observation.

My wife and I have been coming here for many years and have always been happy with Our stay . The rooms are clean dated but clean. It's had bit of a revamp so that was nice to see. Location is spot on if your lucky to get a sea view you will be amazed. The breakfast was lovey I opted for full breakfast was delicious 😋 There were more options cereals at hand , my wife had scrambled eggs on toast all served to your table with coffee or tea . The staff were friendly and very helpful .

Nothing we didn't like .It was perfect for us 🤗😊.

Lovely location, geared up to owners coach tour company. Not the ‘Seabank ‘ it used to be , but still clean and comfortable, has a lift , pleasant evening entertainment . Breakfast cost £10 was basic , bacon/ eggs/ mushroom/ sausage / beans ok cooked well but not that inspiring Probably geared to mainly elderly clients . Eg no nuts and red fruit for the porridge/ cereal ( choice of fruit was prunes and grapefruit) - Tom had pleasant sea view, was warm, clean, comfortable and tranquil

Could have been cheaper eg £80 per night instead of £105 for mid week stay

Friendly staff made us welcome. The room we were allocated was large and had a sea view. The suite was large too and the shower worked well. Bed was comfy. The hotel caters for coach parties and entertainment in the evening was a delightful surprise. The hotel is situated in a prime position for the resort and walking to the beach was an easy stroll.

There was no information in the room about what dinner services were offered. A window curtain would not close and some hooks were not attached.

Nice hotel, staff we met while on our stay were very friendly. breakfast was ok, not very warm. Room was nice. View was beautiful.

We had a £100 parking fine through the door about a week after our stay, we put our number plate in the machine on arrival as requested and wrote it on our arrival form and still received a fine which was very distressing as I then had to contact the hotel to get them to sort it, the woman on the phone the 1st time I rang wasn't very helpful and was quite rude, i spoke to a different woman later that day and she was very helpful, the hotel did then sort the fine but had to be prompted to confirm it had been cancelled and left us worrying as it would go up if it wasn't sorted ASAP. And no apology or anything offered for the inconvenience. Very poor. Get them to confirm your parking before you leave.

It was a trip specifically for my 82 year old mother. The hotel was accessible which was perfect because she is mostly wheelchair bound. Although neither of the two rooms we booked had a sea view, we liked the location of the hotel which is on the sea front. My mother particularly liked the evening entertainment. She said it made her feel like she was on holiday. Staff on the front desk and catering staff at breakfast were all very polite, helpful, and friendly.

Perfect location, free parking, lovely, friendly staff, our room was a good size and the view was outstanding, great entertainment in the night, and a tasty breakfast in the morning, nothing was to much for the staff, they were all really helpful and kind, and Porthcawl town was a 5mins walk away.

I couldn't shower at 7am, because the water pressure was so low, it got stronger as the day went on, but i couldn't have a morning shower, maybe add some sweet pastries to the breakfast menu.

Staff are great, they're welcoming and polite. Location is excellent. Clean throughout. We had a large corner room with fabulous sea views this time. Stayed here a few times now just for short breaks because the price is fair, location is perfect, right on sea front and the staff are great. Free hotel parking is fab too and just a few minutes walk into town.

This hotel mostly caters for coaching holidays so mostly older adults. The restaurant is brilliantly run with food being served without delay but as its mostly coaching holidays it makes sense for the hotel to keep the set 3 course menu to be efficient and cost effective with that many meals to serve but it's not really for us, we'd prefer something a little more tasty and to not have to pay for 3 courses when we just want a main. Rooms we've stayed in haven't been updated in years but still presentable and clean.

Lovely staff, fabulous location, great parking. Breakfast was delicious and the evening meal was very reasonably priced! Just needed to get away from life for a weekend and soak up some of that sea air. This is not my first visit to Seabank Hotel and know they wont disappoint. Had an amazing sea view from my room and they generously let me park my car there for the remainder of the day after I booked out. Everything I wanted from my weekend break and left feeling fully refreshed.

If I had to take a mark off for anything it would be the fact that even though I had an amazing sea view the room was very very warm, even though the heater was off - although I do appreciate that this is a personal preference
