The staff and the locals were fabulous! Everyone made us and the dogs feel so welcome! No it’s not a modern hotel BUT if your looking for a proper friendly hotel where the locals talk to you like friends would and your dogs are treated like the hotel pets then this is the place for you! The room was clean and had everything you need. Thank you Brentwood Hotel and the locals! We will be back!

We had a nice welcome of the barman and Laura the owner was very nice. You also need a code to get to the rooms which then needed your hand print and a code to enter the room. The room was a good size with a lovely bathroom and shower and there was also a fridge in the room.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Porthcawl, room was lovely and we were able to bring our dog with us.. bar downstairs was very reasonable, and all the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay went smoothly. We will definitely be going back

Room was very spacious, clean staff were welcoming pub was great free jukebox and free pool, live bands open until 1am

Door had a gap at the bottom which led a draft in. Room was slightly cold as heating was on timer when the heating was on it was lovely.

We had the best of welcome from bar staff on our arrival.. landlady asked about our room needs, etc, and offered us a cheaper 1 more suitable, which we only needed double, not a twin .I would stay here again, definitely

My room was lovely and clean also had a fridge so could keep stuff nice and fresh,, co-op and one stop shop like 2 mins aways beach to mins away and the pub was brilliant

Despite all the negative comments you get what you pay for cheap and cheerful the bar playing good music and customers coming for a drink after work will be booking again

Very friendly, kind and helpful staff. Check-in was quick and easy, and the hotel was very clean and nice. Would definitely recommend and will be using the hotel in the future.

The location is fantastic, Staff are really friendly and helpful.

More towels would of been nice as me and my boy had to share, should of asked for more and probably would have been given more.

The service and politeness of staff is very good 👍 Would recommend for short breaks or even longer stays in this facility ....
