The staff were so friendly and thorough. We were informed that there were no fire alarms scheduled and should one sound where it was we were to meet. We were shown to our room personally. We were informed of the protocol of how to enter the venue after the public part closed for the evening should we arrive back late. The staff were so friendly and kind, it was lovely! The room was incredibly clean, and even when having breakfast, the next morning, employees were cleaning the bar area so thoroughly, places I wouldn't even think of. The beds were so comfy that we didn't even want to get up! The location was perfect for us due to an event in Margam Country Park, this hotel is 6 minutes away. There is plenty of parking available too. We both said we'd happily stay here again in the future, especially with it being so reasonably priced and so clean.

The rooms are in need of some modernising, and there was no shampoo and conditioner for the shower, but other than that, it was perfect.

The rooms were large, clean and had everything we needed for 2 nights stay. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good too. We had cooked breakfast on the 2 mornings we stayed and it was lovely...very tasty.

Not really a dislike but the rooms could have been modernised abit. Just needed a fresh lick of paint but it didn't stop us from enjoying our stay.

Ideal stop over on route to ferry, just of the M4 motorway , We had an evening meal and breakfast, both were very good , Very happy with everything,enjoyed a few pints in the Bar, Great Staff , Parking at the rear for our motorcycles , no complaints

A clean, well situated hotel with easy access to local areas or the M4.

Online stated that the room had a hair dryer but on arrival no dryer was there. On asking I was told no rooms have hair dryers. I would have taken mine if I was aware. On the first morning, prior to an early appointment, there were no staff available to make breakfast. A cleaner was trying her hardest to contact someone to sort out. Apart from the cleaner there were no staff in the hotel! Not impressed. The second morning was all good.

The food and staff were excellent. Facilties and bar were good. The landlord was very cheerful and welcoming. Young lady gave me a very interesting history lesson when I asked about the photos on the wall.

The bedroom could've been cleaner. The carpet by the bedroom door inside was a trip hazard as it was in a long bump. Apart from those few issues, our stay were great.

Staff were lovely except the restaurant manager who was arrogant and very rude, he should not be in the hospitality business and should not be dealing with the public. In my opinion as soon as he heard we had booked through Booking.com he totally switched off and was not interested in assisting or answering any questions.

The breakfast was amazing value for money and very tasty good . £8:95 for Full English Breakfast as well as continental of choice fresh juice plus tea and coffee , we also had a meal one evening also very good 😊 hotel it self little dated but still worth what we paid , staff very friendly

We received a really warm welcome from Kayleigh who had very kindly left a dozen roses and bottle of prosecco and card in our room to kick off our wedding anniversary celebrations. We were so touched! We had arrived weary, since we'd travelled nearly 300 miles on our motorcycles that day, so to be welcomed with such a kind gesture was really lovely. There is a lively bar here with a really fantastic live music duo (Walking the Dog) on the first night we stayed. Rooms are quiet which was appreciated. It's not luxurious but it is comfortable with plenty of room. Reasonably priced. Friendly locals but it was the staff who made our visit so pleasant. Many thanks to everyone.

It was excellent all round. Amazing value for money. I was visiting family & know the neighbourhood. The staff were fantastic & couldn’t do enough. The room was very clean, bathroom was excellent & pristine. I had a great sleep. I could have done with an extra pillow & the wifi didn’t work but minor details. Will be back.

Wifi didn’t work but it wasn’t a drama as I wasn’t travelling for work.

food is great at the place and there is an awesome selection of drinks. We had a steak dinner with a nice bottle of prosecco. The steak was cooked exactly to perfection. What I like most about here is the friendliness of the staff especially the landlord he's a gem. The surrounding area is great and people very friendly
