I just want to say, this stay at this superb hotel was one of the best l have ever had I booked my spa day so had the use of the spa facilities from ten o clock and it was all truly wonderful The jacuzzi, the steam room and the pool my lunch was gorgeous And my treatment at two o clock with the young lady who gave me a rejuvenate all over body massage, oh my goodness, it was so lovely, so amazing Thank you so much I was so well looked after, the young lady on spa reception was so lovely and helpful and kind I didn't want to leave I had a lovely bath, the room, number 29, was gorgeous, stunning The bed was gorgeous, lovely Our meal was amazing, the waitresses and staff were lovely, so enjoyed, thank you so much Bed was lovely Breakfast was lovely the next day and our young waitress was so lovely It was lovely talking to Kevin, the night receptionist and our receptionists were lovely I had a truly wonderful time Just so love this lovely hotel Thank you so much Kate Cross Room 29 15 October 2025

Oh my goodness All gorgeous Nothing

Our bedroom was lovely. It was spacious, clean and the bathroom was excellent having both a very deep bath and a big walk in powerful shower. Mini toiletries were complimentary and towels fluffy and white. Breakfast was excellent with lots of hot and cold choices. We helped ourselves to yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereals and pastries plus a choice of four juices. Tea and coffee were poured by a server and cooked breakfast items were served to order and were piping hot. The pool and sauna were spotless and towels were provided.

The weather was wet and cold and the heating in the room stayed lower than we would normally have it. Reception did say they would bring heaters to our room however we didn’t feel it cold enough for that. SKY tv didn’t work but there was a second tv (terrestrial ) that was fine as we were out visiting friends for the evening and didn’t need tv.

Room was lovely and clean. Great ensuite. Plenty of parking. Breakfasts good, and the evening meal we had was absolutely superb. Bar was lively and well attended. Staff lovely. Pool nice, plenty of sunbeds.

The steam room in the spa was dreadful - absolutely stank. Sauna was ok but small and claustrophobic. Wasn't the main purpose of our visit so didn't really matter to us, but it would have been disappointing if we had planned it as a spa break. Room key kept on failing so lots of trips back to reception, who were very helpful, but it got a bit frustrating.

The place is set in nice grounds, room was clean and tidy. Enjoyed the spa

The floor in changing room and around pool was a little slippy, but if careful was ok. Food was ok, onion rings were under cooked, but ceased salad was lovely, hated the wine glass, were those horrible cheap thick ones. Restaurants service the young lad could do with a little extra training, was not very attentive. Drink order wasn’t taken when seating is had to wait quiet a while for them and another member of staff had to get them for us. Breakfast was weird, having to wait by a table for someone to serve me from Bain marie’s, would have been nice to serve yourself, like other hotels I have stayed at, but it was nice, and enjoyed it.

Really liked the food in the restaurant in the evening , it was excellent. Especially enjoyed the Sunday dinner ,lots of tasty veg and yummy gravy.

We weren't told when we booked that hotel guests can only use the spa facilities before 11 and after 3 . It was apparently in the book in the room which most people don't read unless they want some info .It was annoying as it forecast rain so we went out early to come back and use the spa ,very disappointed. When we complained at reception ,there was no apology atall . Strange arrangement for breakfast , the food was out but was served by the staff . Breakfast is not same standard as restaurant .Cheap ketchup , beans ,tinned mushrooms .

Really enjoyed our stay! Couple in our 30s wanting a quiet night away. Room was big and spacious, huge comfy bed! Spa was lovely to use and clean. We had evening meal in the restaurant and the food was very very good we both enjoyed our meals (I had lamb and husband had steak) Breakfast the next morning was great, helped ourselves to fruit , yogurt, cereal, hot and cold drinks etc and then can order hot breakfast also. Despite there being a big charity party on that night we didn’t hear any noise as placed in room in the spa building so didn’t affect us at all.

Only thing that would make it better would be perhaps upgrading the bathrooms/rooms as they did look a little dated but we didn’t mind that at all personally and everything was clean. Would deff stay again :-)

Very clean hotel. Excellent quality and good value food. The staff were very friendly and attentive. An excellent stay and will be using the hotel again

Unfortunately, my wife who is currently having difficulty walking, found the outside area around the otherwise excellent swimming pool area, very slippery and had to be helped to and from the pool and solarium areas. I know, it's a wet area but a few more mats would alleviate this small complaint. Thank you.

Clean rooms. Beds comfortable. Our 6 kids enjoyed de pool. Staff is ok very friendly the old lady short hair and the skinny guy with long hair are very nice. But that young girl with piercings and tatoos from reception is really cold , not professional, not smiling, in reception is better to use professional people with kind atitude. Cleaners are more friendly than that young lady with tatoos from reception.

Fridge missing in rooms. A small one should be better

The staff were lovely and attentive, the beds large, quiet and comfortable. We didn't use the spa, but could have and it looked nice. Food was good (breakfasts and we had an evening meal, good portions). Great location for walks, Gower, etc

There were many lovely flowers in the grounds which looked well looked after. Some weeding in the carpark would smarten things up and the walkways could do with some attention, e.g. pointing between paving slabs.

The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The spa and pool facilities were clean, relaxing, and a real highlight. Breakfast had a good variety and was enjoyable each morning. Parking was convenient, and the location made it easy to explore Swansea and nearby areas.

The only downside was that the air conditioning unit was positioned too far back, so the cool air didn’t circulate fully around the room.
