The room was quite large and comfortable. The standard of fittings was a step up from the budget hotels. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is in a really nice location by the marina and it is a pleasant walk to the main bars and restaurants in town.

The photos on the hotel advert are misleading. The hotel is not the tower as the photos try and lead you to believe but the somewhat tired low rise red brick building. The staff said lots of people think it is the tower when they book, which isn't surprising when none of the 35 photos show you the actual frontage of the hotel. Ultimately the hotel is nice inside and in a good location but it is never a great start to feel duped when you arrive.

We were very impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious and comfortable and the food was good.

We would like to have been able to open a window rather than having air conditioning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 2 nights at the hotel. The staff were very accommodating, the room was good and comfortable the only thing was the taps to the shower were very hard to turn on and off very stiff. Everything else was very good we had a meal on our second night which was very good, and a breakfast before we left which was also very good. We made use of the water fountain to fill up our bottles as the second day we rode our bikes around the bay to the Mumbles and back. The weather was glorious for our whole week in Wales. The hotel was handy for travelling the Gower & we particularly enjoyed our visit to Rhosilli Bay, the beach is gorgeous.

It was really near the Swansea arena where we attended a gig. The room was very spacious and clean , beds were very comfortable too.

We arrived after 18.00 got booked I our room and came down for a meal at just after 20.00 and the person greeted us abruptly with you just made it . After we sat down and had our drinks and waiting for meal, another two couples and a man came in and didn't receive this response. Maybe because we had jeans ,rock tshirts etc ,we were hotel guests so expected better treatment. Also they have a area selling odd stacks, amazed to see £5 charging for a £1 pot noodle at most ,I get they need to make some profit.

The hotel is lovely and in a great location both for the town and a walk along the sea front. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast provided was first class. Drinks at the bar were not expensive, and the lounge afea was a nice space to sit with a drink while doing some early evening work on my laptop.

The room was nice although pillows on the bed not great, too soft for me.... I ate in the restaurant one night with high hopes as the breakfasts were great, the food for my evening meal though wasn't great but maybe I was just a little unlucky. Service in the restaurant however was brilliant.

Breakfast excellent - especially as I’m new to being a vegetarian so I enjoyed a lovely smoked salmon & egg on toast plus tomato My hubby pleased with full “English” breakfast ! Cleanliness throughout - staff helpful.

Feather pillows!!!! Didn’t think I would need to ask for non-feather pillows but having discovered this at bedtime a lot of effort was made to “locate” hypoallergenic pillows x 4 & bring to our room (housekeeping finished & high demand!) Why don’t they check what you need when you arrive?? Need to have option of oat // coconut milk BARISTA version for coffee in room & at breakfast . Plugs need to be checked to make sure they fit the plug holes do you can enjoy a bath!

Fantastic location for our visit. Great hotel very welcoming. Reception staff were buzzing and look like they were enjoying the day. Great to see smiles when you turn up made us feel very confident. Food was great. We had room service. Meal was hot and very good. Menu was varied good choices. We booked a time for our delivery and it was spot on. No complaints and would definitely be coming back hopefully for a longer stay. 10/10 keep up the good work.

If I had to say a dislike. I would say all the scaffolding around the building was a little off putting. But I appreciate everything needs a little maintenance once and while.

This hotel is lovely. Great location, lovely views across the beach. All staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean, bed was very comfortable and quiet. A good size, with tea/coffee, iron and complimentary toiletries. All areas of the hotel were well maintained. Lovely bar area. Breakfast had plenty of choice. Overnight parking available for £5. We didn't eat at the restaurant so cannot comment, however the menu looks good. We stayed overnight as attended an event at the theatre, I would most definitely stay again and thoroughly recommend this hotel.

In my opinion there are no bad points.

Lovely staff, from those on reception to the dining room. i booked a fairly basic room but still very spacious and nice bed linens. Comfortable night sleep. buffet breakfast with all the usual included. hot food included cooked to order whatever combination you require. Beach 30meters from the front door. Park run start 0.5 miles. parking free (just log your car at the desk) large car park. the place had an eco vibe and they were trying to be more environmentally aware from the multi-use toiletries in the room to the buffet 'take what you can eat and come back as many times as you want' to avoid food waste. also central to town!

the bath plug didn't fit well

Lovely view of the bay and great to walk straight on to the beach. Good bedside reading lights !!! Cleanliness, daily housekeeping on request, good shower, friendly staff, car parking. Also appreciated the cupboard space et. Very good breakfast buffet - variety of fruit and cereal extras, yoghurt, pastries etc - wish we had the appetite for your cooked breakfast too !

The bed mattress (?) is ‘worn’ and dips in the middle which prevented a settled sleep and is not good for our backs. This is a shame and the reason we did nor rate the hotel Excellent. A small thing, it would be so nice if you supplied a ‘bath’ size towel.
