The room was quite large and comfortable. The standard of fittings was a step up from the budget hotels. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is in a really nice location by the marina and it is a pleasant walk to the main bars and restaurants in town.

The photos on the hotel advert are misleading. The hotel is not the tower as the photos try and lead you to believe but the somewhat tired low rise red brick building. The staff said lots of people think it is the tower when they book, which isn't surprising when none of the 35 photos show you the actual frontage of the hotel. Ultimately the hotel is nice inside and in a good location but it is never a great start to feel duped when you arrive.

We were very impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious and comfortable and the food was good.

We would like to have been able to open a window rather than having air conditioning.

Breakfast was lovely, the kids would have liked waffles but was unavailable. The staff in general were great. Room was cleaned well. Room was clean and suitable on arrival too. A second suitcase holder would have been better for a family of 4. Location was convenient. Parking was reasonable and spaces were always available which was very helpful. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean.

Window could not be opened. Not enough places to sit for 4 people despite sleeping 4. Hair dryer was faulty. Lack of tissues and toilet roll on arrival but provided when we requested. No excursions were available. The fridge was not very powerful and our milk expired quicker than expected. Only 3 bath towels were in the room on arrival but we were a family of 4.

Checking in time was 3pm, we asked for a 2pm check in time and received an email confirming this. We arrived at approximately 2.30pm only to be told the room wasn't ready, we went to the bar for a coffee to wait, we eventually got the room key at 3.45pm, and only then after we had chased the reception. Not a good start, but as it was only a holiday break, it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was good. There was a good selection of food although the quality of cooked food did vary from day to day, somedays it was undercooked, others slightly overcooked, overall though it was acceptable. We ate an evening meal here once, and it was good, nothing amazing, but good, although a little expensive for what it was. The room was clean, and plenty big enough for the two of us. The room did get warm at night so we turned on the air-con, however, it was very noisy. The bathroom fan was also running constantly, so the door had to be kept closed to avoid the noise during te night. Location was fantastic! There were a number of excellent restaurants located within a 10 minute walk from the hotel, and it was only a casual, 20 minute walk to the city centre, and less than 10 minutes to the Swansea arena. Overall, I would stay again, especially if I could find discounted prices somewhere.

Booked family room for one night which had 2 good sized double beds. The hotel itself seems a bit on the old side but seems to have been refurbished. Quick, friendly check in even though we had only booked one hour before. Car park is massive and we were charged only £5. Location is excellent being just beside Swansea bay. Hotel is easy to get to off main road. Room was good. Air con was good (although initially there was a musty smell coming from it) and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was reasonable size and was fine. Nice modern TV which had variety of channels. We were on 2nd floor overlooking harbour area, which was a lovely view. Very quiet, no disturbances at all. Needed extra towel which was brought up to room very quickly.

Breakfast price seems waaaaay too expensive! (£15/16pp)

We were greeted by Janetta on the reception. She was so professional but also with the most lovely approach to customer care. Straight away we felt welcome. Check in went smoothly and Janetta explained all relevant information regarding our stay and was a knowledge of local information. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean with all we needed. Everywhere we went within the hotel we were acknowledged with a lovely smile by all staff. We had a delicious meal on our first night. Again the staff in the bar and dining area were polite and friendly. Compliments to the chef, our meal was perfect.

Just personal opinion but I would prefer a walk-in shower instead if a bath.

The hotel's location next to the bay area, marina and the town centre was perfect. Excellent views from the top floor bedroom. We liked the cold water drinks fountain that served at the press of buttons, still or sparkling water. All the staff were genuinely caring and professional when dealing with their customers. The hotel's car park was so convenient and correctly priced per day.

An anti-slip matt to be provided to be used in the bath cum shower. An upright chair in the bedroom to be swapped for the slightly low seated desk chair or the lounger chair.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 2 nights at the hotel. The staff were very accommodating, the room was good and comfortable the only thing was the taps to the shower were very hard to turn on and off very stiff. Everything else was very good we had a meal on our second night which was very good, and a breakfast before we left which was also very good. We made use of the water fountain to fill up our bottles as the second day we rode our bikes around the bay to the Mumbles and back. The weather was glorious for our whole week in Wales. The hotel was handy for travelling the Gower & we particularly enjoyed our visit to Rhosilli Bay, the beach is gorgeous.

The location is fantastic: I stayed during May and the weather was stunning - this hotel overlooks Swansea beach and I hadn't realised how beautiful it is! The staff were particularly friendly and helpful, this can really make or break a hotel stay and it certainly made mine. The breakfast was tasty, well presented and there was a wide variety of choices, a cut above your average hotel breakfast buffet, although sadly no fresh coffee (I loathe those coffee vending-type machines made from powdered coffee). I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of hospitality I experienced here and will definitely stay here again.

There was no bottled water in the rooms. I find these days I'm rather suspicious of UK tap water!

It was really near the Swansea arena where we attended a gig. The room was very spacious and clean , beds were very comfortable too.

We arrived after 18.00 got booked I our room and came down for a meal at just after 20.00 and the person greeted us abruptly with you just made it . After we sat down and had our drinks and waiting for meal, another two couples and a man came in and didn't receive this response. Maybe because we had jeans ,rock tshirts etc ,we were hotel guests so expected better treatment. Also they have a area selling odd stacks, amazed to see £5 charging for a £1 pot noodle at most ,I get they need to make some profit.
