Great location very close to the seafront and the beach. Room was very nice, comfortable and fully equipped. Excellent breakfast and all the staff has been very, caring and professional. One night we had also dinner by the restaurant and the food was very good.!!!

For the kind of room we had the bathroom was quite small and not really comfortable......

Beautiful room (room 5) very clean with everything you might need. Bed was so comfortable and I slept very well. Fairly quiet, some noise from guests coming and going in the carpark. Staff were fabulous very friendly and helpful. Pizza in the evening was delicious. Breakfast consisted of good quality ingredients.

Continental breakfast very limited choice, no meat or cheese. Cooked breakfast served on a huge plate - one sausage, one bacon rasher, half a tomato and 3 mushroom halves. Poached egg was overcooked, not at all runny. Disappointing, especially when the quality of food was so good

The bed was comfortable and the meals were good. On site parking was available. Nice surprise was the happy hour in the bar when we arrived

The room had a very strong room deoderiser smell which was a bit overpowering. We were on the ground floor and the room was noisy, particularly people walking upstairs. The plumbing was noisy, so you heard every time someone flushed the toilet or turned on the taps. Could here other room tvs so tried to keep our noise down. Wifi was a bit unreliable. Room door was glass which was a bit disconcerting, protected by a curtain.

Staff were always around, extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely building in a perfect location. Room was very spacious and clean. Wonderful comfy bed and very quiet in the evening. Food was good.

Our bathroom must have been over the kitchen as it had a very strong smell of chips/cooking oil constantly and the shower was a bit unpredictable- was warm then cold then tepid, it couldn't settle on a constant temperature. There was also a loud extractor fan which turned on at all different times, it did not seem to be connected to the bathroom light and woke us up in the night.

Beautiful old hotel with lovely vista over the water, well back from the main road so very quiet. Our room was enormous by UK standards, as it had a fold-out sofa bed to accommodate 2 more. Nicely decorated, with all the accessories and very comfortable. As with many old hotels here, accessing the upstair rooms is a bit up and down stairs, but I think this is part of their charm.. Really felt like we were stepping back into the past, with a lovely old bar to sit and enjoy a drink downstairs. Just a few minutes walk into the high street of Mumbles.

Breakfast was the only disappointment - good menu but not executed particularly well. And only brewed coffee - would have expected at least French press, but maybe that's just me.

Clean, comfortable room, probably newly refurbished. Fantastic choice at breakfast, both of cooked dishes and fruit, yogurt, pastries etc. Car parking right outside. Close to sea front promenade - we could just see the sea from our ground floor room.

Internal soundproofing wasn't great - we were on the ground floor, and the upstairs floor was creaky when people moved around, plus we could hear TV and talking. Also we would have liked a net curtain as our room looked straight out on the car park. Room and ensuite were very compact, but we had only paid for a standard room.

Staff were very polite and courteous, attentive and happy to help. We had a warm welcome upon arrival and each time we came into the hotel we were greeted. The restaurant was good value and the staff responded to a request to slightly alter a dish, if a little flummoxed by it, which was amusing!

The door to our room allowed a lot of light into the room at night. I got up and found the switch on the landing to make our room dark enough to sleep. The room was a little on the cool side.

Very happy, helpful friendly staff. Which made for a nice atmosphere. Nothing too much trouble. Off street parking. Easy access. Nice size clean room with all that was needed for a relaxing stay. Bar (with happy two hour) Nice reasonably priced meals well presented. Offers too! Noticed they had theme nights too. Breakfast was well stocked continental breakfast and inc. cooked breakfast. Coffee, tea & juices.

Some guests not using utensils at breakfast. Maybe a notice to suggest 🤔. Antibac on tables?

The room was very good (superior double room) with a good quality electric shower in the bathroom. The breakfast was outstanding, with polite and attentive staff providing table service for cooked breakfasts; we have vegetarian breakfast on all three mornings and it was excellent every time. Also good range of other breakfast supplies such as quality yoghurts, pastries, and good coffee etc. The large onsite car park is also a great aspect of the hotel given it's location in the heart of the mumbles. All round very good value for money, great location, and staff were very helpful and attentive.

Was difficult to park at one point due to a daytime function, although when we came back later the cark park had cleared so a very minor point.

The staff were all very friendly & helpful-nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was set out perfectly & delicious. Evening meals also fabulous. The room was compact but spotlessly clean with a lovely shower. Would definitely recommend & return.

The only thing I would say is that the bar menu was very limited. If we've been out all day & don't feel like going back out, a bar meal is perfect. However, there was nothing on the bar menu suitable for both of us.
