The staff were so accommodating and friendly. On the morning of our departure, we decided to have breakfast at the hotel as we were leaving early. The gentleman supervising this couldn't do enough for us. His presentation of the breakfast buffet was top class. As we were leaving, he offered to fill our water bottles and asks if we would like coffee for the journey. The rooms were very clean and modern. Lovely bathroom with good shower. Had iron and hairdryer as standard. Was quite warm, a fan would have been a welcome addition. All in all, completely exceeded expectations.

Would habe preferred to be closer to the city however, parking was free and only 5 minutes in an uber

Comfortable twin room on the ground floor. All that we needed really for our weekend. Beds were comfortable too. Kettle with tea and coffee provided. The weather was sunny for once so the room did get quite warm at times but window could be opened. Nice big walk in shower and everything was clean and tidy. The thing that really makes this place stand out though is the hotel staff. They were the friendliest staff I’ve ever met in a hotel! Behind reception, in the small bar and in the kitchen, they were all absolutely lovely. We had a meal there after travelling down on Friday evening and the service and food was great. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. To always be greeted with a smile and ‘ how are you?’ is unfortunately not that common anymore but the staff of the Ibis Swansea should all be commended for their wonderful customer service and overall welcoming manner. I will definitely be staying here again if I’m in the area!

Food, bed was comfy, parking was good. Staff very nice and accommodating with any problems we encountered

Shower wasn't getting any cold water so just had really hot showers. Bathroom floor would constantly flood after a shower. Water wouldn't drain properly and the entire floor would be soaked. No ventilation/extraction in bathroom so the towels would be staying damp and the whole bathroom would smell very damp and off putting. Nowhere to hang towels to dry. Toilet flush not very strong.

The staff were awesome!!!!! When we arrived, there was a mix-up with the room, but the staff were efficient & friendly in sorting it out. When we were going out first the evening one member of staff noticed us trying to decide the best way to walk. He came out of the hotel to give us directions. Every single person we met who worked there was happy, friendly and polite. The location is great too.

Due to the room mix-up, we ended up being in the disabled room. Really didn't like the shower and the fact the toilet didn't have a lid.

The 2 staff members who were working the late shift were amazing! The lady took a lot of time with me trying to find the best price for our next stay and she has booked us 2 rooms joining in the disabled room on the ground floor which we stayed in last night. We have booked 2 rooms joining as our 16 year old son will be travelling with us next time and we wanted to be close together

Didn’t have any faults at all. It’s actually the cleanest and most comfortable place we have ever stayed before and we travel to Swansea from Bedford every 6 weeks to visit my husband’s children

Very friendly and helpful staff especially Maria who check us in and cleaning staff who gave give me extra teabags instead of coffee. Clean, comfortable room and nice location only a 20 min walk to the marina area where there are bars/restaurants.

The bathroom gets steamed up very quickly as there is no ventilation. We had the window open as it was a warm evening and being on a main road it was quite noisy throughout the night. If you click into Google maps to find the Ibis it won't get you to the hotel, just a road nearby, so we called for directions. These issues wouldn't prevent me staying again as they are minor and outweighed by the positives.

The hotel was excellent, the breakfast delicious and we also had the dinner too as our car had broken down so we stayed on the next day. The staff were all fantastic in looking after us, friendly, professional and kind. Give we were stranded for a day at the hotel after we’d checked out until our car was recovered we saw how good and welcoming your staff were. Lima on reception was extremely helpful as was everyone else. Thanks again and we will definitely stay again based on our hugely positive experience. K regards David

Nothing it was faultless.

It is situated right near to where I wanted to be, so made it very easy for me to catch up with friends who live close by. The shower was great, couldn’t fault it!

Could hear neighbouring rooms TV,s and inconsiderate people making a noise late at night in the corridors, but can’t be helped I suppose. The pillows were a bit flat particularly one which should have been binned. But overall it was a pleasant stay and my second time there, and I’ll be booking a room there a couple of times next year!

Lovely hotel, all you need. Travelling with a dog. Exceptional staff, fantastic communication with hotel, they were very prompt, informative, and courteous when communicating. Lovely receptionist on duty when we were checking out on Sat 16th Aug 25 (wish i could remember her name)! We added on the contentential breakfast, great start to the day. Ideal for those travelling with a dog!! 🐾

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Oliver was especially dog friendly. Hotel was clean and tidy, food was reasonably priced. Price per night was good as this hotel doesn't have swimming pool etc etc which I wouldn't use anyway.

Some idiot smoking in their room and setting off the fire alarm at 3am in the morning. Staff quickly established it wasn't a real fire before we had time to evacuate to the outside. Hope they faced a hefty extra charge.
