The location was ideal for exploring Swansea & Mumbles. Lovely host Julien & Mel. We had exclusive use of a sitting room and outdoor terrace area. Breakfast was very good and plenty of it. Plenty of brewing stuff and nibbles available. We could come and go as we pleased. They went out of their way to help and make our stay enjoyable.

Parking could be a problem at certain times of the day especially if all the neighbours were at home. Our bedroom was down a flight of stairs which could prove problematic for those with mobility issues and our room was on the small size with no windows. This was compensated by the use of the sitting room and outdoor space.

From the greeting on arrival from Julien, to the beautiful decoration of their home and my room, to the utterly delicious, made with love 💗 breakfast - my stay at Wynberg House was quite delightful. My room was the height of comfort and thoughtfulness, from the snacks and range of hot drinks to the ultra soft towels. The bathroom and shower had a joyous range of fragrant bathing products 🌺 - the attention to detail and cleanliness made for a charming, welcoming stay. The bed needs its very own paragraph, for it was truly sumptuous, divine, luxury 🥰. Even down to the recommendation to stroll through the wonderful botanical Singleton Gardens, which were just a short walk way, to the tourists leaflets on the incredible Gower coastline - every consideration was ticked ✅. Friendly staff gave us a warm welcome and actually ate with us at breakfast. Great banter and incredible standard of food. Location was perfect - quiet, safe parking on the road outside, with plenty of spaces within sight of the room. 5 minutes from city centre and 10 minutes to the Gower coast. Bed really comfortable, bath gowns and clean towels provided and plenty of tea/coffee, biscuits, chocolates etc. Decor was stylish. Toilet, shower and bathroom spotless. Strong wi-fi.

Only one or two minor issues. More suggestions than complaints. The room's door could not be locked from the outside - only secured by a chain from the inside. For security, we would have preferred a lock with a key. Also there were no instructions for the TV. We were not familiar with the setup, so gave up trying to work out how it worked. However, we are radio people, so it didn't really matter to us. Finally, there wasn't much space to move around the bed. It was a tight squeeze moving around the room. Typical of many B&Bs I know, but it did feel a little cramped.

The B&B was beautiful. There were lots of lovely welcoming 'touches' like cookies in the room when we arrived. The room itself was quite small but decorated really well, and was very cosy and pretty. The owners are very friendly, and the cooked breakfast in the morning was fantastic. We easily found parking on the street outside.

We had called to check beforehand that the bathroom was for our private use, and had been told that it was, so we were a bit surprised to find that it was actually for use by the other guests as well. But as there were only 2 other people staying it wasn't a big deal.

Lovely little place with a comfy bed. Hosts were very lovely and welcoming and couldn’t have been better. Breakfast was top notch and they kept the coffee flowing. Room had everything you could possibly need in it. Plus has parking out the front which was a must for us.

Was a shared bathroom and toilet - if I’d have known this beforehand, I wouldn’t have booked it. Pictures show and list outside table setting as shared, but you have to get through someone else’s room to use it, so not really shared. The room is a little cluttered, so if you have a port each, it doesn’t leave any room for your luggage. You need to get out what you need and then close it up and put it in the storage cupboard. They have dogs that greet you, something to keep in mind if you’re not a dog person.

We had a fabulous stay at Wynberg House. Julian and Melanie are a delightful couple and excellent hosts. They made us feel comfortable and welcome and went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after. We much enjoyed our many chats with them and felt as though we were friends rather than simply guests. The breakfasts were delicious and we looked forward to them each morning! The house is charming and homely reflecting the personalities, talents and interests of its owners.

The room had an en-suite basin and toilet but no shower. This was located upstairs which could prove inconvenient to some. In our case it was always available when required.

Mel & Jullian are lovely, friendly, very helpful & jolly hosts. The cooked breakfast was amazing and freshly cooked. There was an abundance of fluffy towels with complimentary toiletries, , snacks, tea & coffee all laid out with beautiful tea sets in our 2 rooms (Delux room) and a very tranquil patio with the perfect bistro table & chairs, surrounded by plants & herbs giving a Mediterranean feel. Highly recommend this lovely gem in Sketty, Swansae, not too far from town centre & Mumbles.

Julien and Mel were very nice and accommodating (waiting for us at our late arrival and providing a place where we could park our bicycles). They provide a good atmosphere during breakfast conversing with all the guests. The breakfasts were great - Mel does a perfect job! When entering the room you get welcomed by a large variety of snacks a set of towels, bathrobes and slippers and leaflets with maps and information about Swansea. And many pillows, of course 😁 Overall we had a great 3-day stay!

A very minor thing. The door of the room was hard to open and close.

We loved the ambience, style, comfort, exceptional decor, warm welcome and superb hosts Mel and Julien at Wyberg House. The location was great. Choice of good eating places a walk away, large park also a walk away. Good on road parking when we stayed in Jan. Very easy, quick access by car to the Gower peninsula. We even had great weather! A super stay all round.

Maybe instructions for using the TV would have been useful as we're not techy. We should have asked for help - but didn't really need the TV in the end. I know Julien and Mel would have helped in an instant.

We only stayed one night, didn't arrive until late evening and had to leave early but the owners made us very welcome and provided an early breakfast which they did not have to do. The room was comfortable and cozy and well supplied with treats and comforts like slippers and dressing gown and the bathroom had a fantastic array of creams, shower gels and bubble bath to make the stay very nice indeed.

Couldn't really get the TV to work but as I was only in the room to sleep this was not really an issue.
