First of all, the hotel is absolutely stunning, the garden at the front of the building is beautiful, the decor around and within the hotel is amazing! The host was so lovely, very helpful, and very very welcoming! The bedroom (one with the bath) was very clean, very modern and so so comfortable (I need that bed, we slept like royalty). The host made us some very tasty cocktails in the evening that we very much enjoyed (whilst sat in the gorgeous garden), and the breakfast the next morning was just delicious, great service, great quality food in a very pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. 10/10

Very friendly staff who responded well when we had issues. We booked very last minute because the family member we were due to stay with had an emergency, and we were lucky to get a cancellation room, but it had some maintenance problems. Staff were responsive and despite being fully booked were able to move us to the room that the owner keeps reserved for themselves (as they weren't staying that night). The room we stayed in was very comfortable and clean with a huge bed and patio space (which came in handy as we ended up needing to get a takeaway dinner and we ate it outside to avoid any impact on the room). We didn't have breakfast or use any other facilities so can't rate those.

The only room available to book was a pet friendly one so I assumed it might smell a bit "doggy' which is fine, but it had a very strong urine smell so I think an accident had been unreported by the last guest or missed. I pulled out and checked the futon (used as a dog bed) to see if that was the issue and found a slobbery cuddly toy abandoned which had been missed in cleaning. I went to reception, explained and asked for a bin bag, but even after airing the room the smell was still there. My husband then asked for some deodoriser as well as reporting that the bath wouldn't drain after a shower, and a staff member came up to check the room. At that point they realised the room wasn't fit to stay in and very quickly found a way to give us a different room.

Absolutly lovely staff, very welcoming and accomodating, food was amazing, Location is close to the beaches in the gower and to local amenities but also feels secluded, nice quiet place to stay, restaurant and bar on site, rooms nice size, great size bathrooms. Hotel can also be used as a wedding or party venue, had a look while staying and were impressed with the facilities available.

The bed had a cover on that made it comfy but slope at the edges so as a couple it felt like you were on the edge, nearly fell out a few times. (This is the only thing and it's a nit pick) if we were staying for more than just the one night the staff are so lovely I'm sure they would have been able to sort something out for us. Still slept very well.

The hotel is tucked away in a quiet lane, making it an ideal base for exploring Gower and Swansea area. I stayed in the main building, in the St. Teilo room, which featured a generous private terrace, with outside seating, overlooking the church. The hotel itself is well-presented, clean, and cosy. My room was well-equipped, with 2 occasional chairs and side table, large TV, a dressing table and chair, mirror, wardrobe, safe, ironing board/iron, and kettle. In addition to wall heaters, a freestanding air con fan and extra heater. Lots of plug points. The bathroom is spacious, with a great shower over the bath, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. As a solo traveller, I felt safe, especially with the electronic key fob entry on the main door. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order, generous, and delicious. Since I visited in winter, I unfortunately couldn’t make use of the beautiful front terrace and garden, but they looked like a fantastic spot to relax in good weather. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again.

We stayed in one of the dog friendly lodges for two nights. The room was very spacious and had a large bathroom. The bed was really comfortable. We didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The staff made you feel welcome on arrival. The hotel is in a good location for visiting the beaches and other sites around the Gower. Would recommend a stay.

Only a couple of minor things. The outside light was not working, so at night, it was a bit dark when trying to find the key hole to unlock the front door. The roller blind in the bathroom was broken. However, we did report these to the reception.

Room was spacious and spotless. We stayed two nights and had everything we needed. Fresh towels and robes each day. Location couldn't have been better for exploring this beautiful corner of the world and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Breakfast could have been better for the money we paid. It wasn't included in the price and we expected a little more considering the rest of the hotel was of such high standard. Coffee wasn't very hot and the apple juice appeared to be apple coloured water as had no taste whatsoever. but the food was very tasty and we were able to bring our dog along which was nice.

Very comfortable,clean spacious room ( we stayed in one of the lodges) Lovely location and very quiet.Good breakfast and excellent dinner at a reasonable price. ...we only intended to eat in once during our 4 night stay, but as the food was so good we ate in every night! Attentive staff and a very nice owner who ensured we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Location is superb. Really quiet and peaceful yet not far from Mumbles and other Gower attractions. Room was lovely, bed and pillows super comfy indeed ‘just right’. Excellent value for money too! Thank you.

I enjoyed my breakfast but a little more choice of cereal and other items wouldn’t go amiss. Granola and yoghurt perhaps? Honey? Granary bread rather than just ‘brown or white’ (I was given a toasted slice of each without being asked). Being told where to sit, right next to another couple when the room was empty was also a tad unusual.

A small, charming hotel nestled amidst lush trees offers a tranquil and serene ambiance, ideal for a well-deserved respite from the rigors of daily life. The comfortable bedding and immaculate bathroom contribute to an overall pleasant stay.

I got a porn star martini that was not very nice, a lovely young guy made it and I felt bad to send it back. I am sure he made it trying his best but it was a big tank of fruity juice and ton of alcohol, not major issue, just saying as is the only thing I could think of 🍹🍸

Decent size bedroom with a huge bathroom. Everything is spotlessly clean and the furnishings look fresh and new. The senior staff were very friendly and highly professional. The location feels rural although there are pubs, convenience shop nearby. If you have a car, the location is ideal for exploring the Gower pensinsula.

In many ways this is an excellent hotel but it would benefit from a mystery guests report as there are some small niggling issues e.g. toilet lid wouldn't stay up, bathroom fan very noisy. Allow plenty of time for breakfast. We stayed for two days and the service at breakfast was very disorganised on both days. This was partly due to the inexperienced waiting staff but mainly the kitchen seemed to struggle with the large number of guests. However, when the food did arrive, it was excellent.
