The staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. They made sure we had everything we needed and were very attentive. The breakfast was really good, the service excellent and the toast kept on coming! The location of the hotel was ideal for our needs and the rooms were clean.

The hotel is in need of a refurbishment as it’s old and tired looking. The bed was not the most comfortable and there was a noisy aircon vent just below our window (we shut the window to cut down the noise). Floors in the bedroom and the corridor outside our room were very creaky so this disturbed us when people walked by (and we were worried about disturbing others as we moved about our room in the night).

The staff members were particularly friendly and helpful. For example, I needed an extension cable to allow me to run my CPAP machine. It was sorted out in no time. We took advantage of the meal offer that evening, which represented excellent value and the quality of the steaks was superb!! I’ve paid a lot more, for much more inferior products and cooking.

I would have appreciated a lift to get to the bedrooms, mainly on arrival and when checking out (carrying bags etc).

The staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble above and beyond kept kitchen open so.we.could all eat with our friends we went to.meet The manager Stacie was outstanding made us feel.so comfortable she.was.amazing as was all the staff the food was great especially the ribeye steak rooms very very clean ,huge bed,would have preferred a shower instead of the posh slipper bath The weather was great played.golf at the ashburnham golf club went to the beach wish I could have stayed for.the week A big thank you to Stacie and all the staff at the ashburnham hotel 10 is not high enough 20/10

Time went to quick

It was very close to the beach at Burry Port and had a lovely eavening stroll and ie cream at the harbour. It was a very clean room and the food in the restaurant was very nice. Great place to explore from.It is in need of a bit of TLC but was comfy enough and met the needs of our visit

Would avoid the hotel when a function is on, as it can be noisy and the seating area was outside our room, where you could hear peoples conversations if sat there.

Great breakfast and a fabulous meal from the menu, staff can't do enough to help you, ,rooms are very clean, but dated, I know new owners so they are improving as they go along, just had new roof and painted outside, our bathroom had been modernised so was lovely bedroom needs updating

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My sister and I were making a pilgrimage to visit our uncle’s gravesite. He perished during WWII. We needed a way to tour the whole area which is steeped in history. Kathleen arranged a taxi service to give us the perfect tour. We learned a lot from our taxi driver Lee. We were really well guided and taken care of. The actual room was very large and comfortable.

We arrived earlier than expected after a long cycle ride in the rain, so were glad that the reception opens relatively early - and that there was a bath in our room to wallow in, not just a shower! The staff were friendly and helpful and showed us where we could store our bikes overnight. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed that evening, but we were able to order a takeaway and eat it in the bar.

The people working at the hotel were brilliant. Had a lovely warm welcome from the lovely lady on reception when we checked in. All the other staff we met were also friendly and helpful. Room was really spotless and well stocked with tea/coffee and toiletries. Bed super comfy! Fantastic location and only 10 minutes from the beautiful Pembray country park.

Everything was perfectly fine. No complaints here!

The staff were friendly and went out of their way to look after our needs. This included looking after luggage and pointing out the quickest way to the closest train station. Very helpful as this distance could have proved a lengthy walk. The sort of service that reinforces your faith in human nature.

A return visitor to this hotel. Very friendly staff, sizeable room, and ideally located for the harbour and centre. Super breakfast to start the day.

As this hotel was suitable for my purpose I have not much to add, apart from a personal preference for having the breakfast period extended until at least 10am
