Very good continental breakast including the host’s own Excellent honey. Really comfy, large family room - well ventilated with a very nice en suite shower. Safe overnight storage for our bikes was provided. Phil, our host, seemed to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the area’s history. The premises itself dated back to the 13th century and gad clearly been subject to several tasteful renovations. It was almost perfectly sited to break up our 80 mile round trip.

Nothing to dislike really. The M4 was only about half a mile away - but that wd suit a lot of people and the sound if traffic cd be muffled by simply closing the windows.

Staying in this modern premises as a B@B was well presented for a time when the weather was warm and sunny. Not staying in a ' Barn' conversion before, it was a change. There was plenty of room to park cars and plenty of seating to sit outside for breakfast or sunbathe. My room was long and narrow. The bathroom was at the opposite end to the single bed with the wardrobe and dressing table against the walls between. The thick stone walls resulted in a very warm room Downstairs there was a good sized living room with the buffet breakfast dining room at the end. The landings had leather settees whether possible. The history of the farm linked well my family's history only a mile or two away

On the morning, about the time of my leaving they were changing wifi service provider. A car is really needed for this accommodation but if you are a walker, it is possible to walk about 2 miles to many restaurants or pubs.(Perhaps a takeaway )mentioned in their folder all used by me sometime in my life. No real problems . Nothing disliked

Excellent range for the continental breakfast, didn't miss the Full Monty at all. Four single beds slotted in well but not enough room for a rave up just as well as I was too tired. The owners had gone to considerable lengths in the way their guest house was furnished and I was particularly impressed with the environmental stance taken. The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and pleasant. Excellent value for money, heartily recommend.

I think we got a real bargain for our overnight stay. Sorry I missed meeting all the animals, there was much to be admired in the great outdoors.

What an amazing property! I was greeted and felt welcomed. The host was very open with the communication about me being allergic to pets and also the possibility of getting there late. I felt comfortable there. The room was impeccably clean. I am a clean freak and not one hair in the bathroom! The bed smelled good, I just prefer softer beds and pillows. The bathroom (like I said, beyond clean) was very nice, shower pressure excellent and very hot water. We slept with the windows open because we like it cold and it was wonderfully quiet and birds sang in the morning. I felt very safe, parking was available and also felt safe. Great location. Breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety to pick and choose. The place has chickens and sheep that you could go look at. And the location was great, next to a major motorway but far away that you did not hear cars.

Wish I could have stayed longer.

Very good value for money and I extended my stay. Easy check and lovely staff. The room was a generous size single. Immaculate, bed very comfy, lovely shower. Amazing breakfast. Good location. Will be back

Only slight gripe is they have a drumming group rehearsing on site every Tuesday from 6-8.30pm I think. Its rather loud but because it was warm weather I couldn't shut the windows. I only mention this from a personal perspective as I purposefully booked a stay away there as respite from the noisy place I live. I put my headphones on anyway but if you are anxious or don't like unexpected noise maybe bear this in mind. Not everyone would find this an issue though

We requested to have the breakfast laid out a little early as work required an early start. It was no problem whatsoever for them. Lovely continental breakfast laid out .

The accommodation was beautiful , clean, pretty and very safe and secure. The only tiny dislike was the occasional large wagons and traffic going into the industrial estate and litter on the grass verges spoilt it outside.

It was very relaxed and the breakfast was a help yourself with a good range of choices. The croissant were freshly baked each day. The downstairs room with a wet room shower was perfect for my elderly mother with mobility issues . The room wouldn’t be suitable for a wheelchair user as it wouldn’t be big enough to manoeuvre around .

The bathroom sink was a bit too small and the toilet was standard not higher for disabled users. The shower was difficult to turn on and off but otherwise great .

Stayed New years eve in the barn first floor twin room lovely features beams exposed brick, etc, for an old building it was so peaceful even though a road to the side. You never heard any traffic. The beds are so comfortable and a lovely big bath. Continental breakfast self service plenty of choice.very relaxed and cheerful atmosphere.

There was nothing to find fault. Even the awful wind and rain did not dampen the peace and quiet

When we arrived we was upgraded to a studio type cottage. It was very warm and welcoming, the fridge was filled with essentials like milk butter yoghurt for breakfast along with extras like cheese and cold meats to make sandwiches, the breakfast box was full of lots to choose from. A fry up option would be amazing however what we was guven was perfect. The staff were lovely and friendly even offered to puck us up when we struggled to get a taxi. The place was clean and tidy all around the grounds too. Had an amazing few days away child free. Thank you

Clean and comfortable room with lots of rustic charm. Big wide bed. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Lovely rural setting but close to M4 motorway for access to other parts of South Wales. Liked the coffee machine - could make myself cappuccinos on demand.

Old fashioned room key was hard to slot into the lock. Breakfast buffet (continental style) was adequate for our needs, but it would have been nice to have some fresh pastries or a better selection of breads and preserves.
